That's the one! It's basicaly a kind of bondo but in fiberglass, harder to work with and sand down, but it will make that area a lot more resistant..

Both parts need to be checked against the chest piece, the top parts need to touch eachother, so to speack.

The bottom back part needs to sit a little on top of the bottom part coming from the chest plate.

Hey guys here's a couple of updates so far.

Helmet

So I have cut out the eye sockets and the side vents my next step is going to be cutting out a rectangle incision on the visor

as stated on the CRL.

Hard Armor

Ok so these are the parts I have completed I still need to go back and fix the front breast plate armor piece has a little crap.

P9085123_zpsc8lpc4qh.jpg

Armor to be completed.

This is going to be tricky the back tank piece needs to be trimmed its way to big the the shins, curve pieces also need to be trimmed, this is going to be tough as I don't know how to cut in a straight line lol so the shin and curve piece meet.

Why do you cut before painting I was thinking it would be easier to cut after painting

The main body of the boots are tan or khaki colored. The soles are tan.

Do not go by the picture in the CRL.

At one point, the body of the boot "was" white.

But, with the whining of some members (Who for some reason no longer have their Kashyyyk Trooper after all of the bitching they did...) declaring that the boots were tan, instead of white and a wee bit dirty, with some Kashyyyk sand on them...they are now TAN. (And have been that way for quite a few years now.)

The CRL picture needs to be updated.

So, if you find boots that are already tan...not much work to do to them, except some sole modifications.

Are crowprops boots still eligible? It seems like they're the only ready made available.

Giovanni's boots are very expensive and they used to be white body + black tread, you need tan + cream.

If he makes those colors for you they can the THE boots. If he doesn´t do at least the cream tread I personaly wouldn't bother, its too much trouble to paint the tread because usually paint doesn´t adhere too well to rubber...

Sorry for the delay on a reply. Ferra covered it well.
Gio's boots (Crowprops) have the exact tread, as seen in brief Ep. III screenshots.
But, for some reason he only makes them in a white boot with the grey tread.
I think that is mainly for the Galactic Marine.
(And the perfect boot for the White Kashyyyk Trooper...just sayin")
If he can make them in tan with a tan base, that would be brilliant. But...
However, I see you've found a nice boot.  Happy modifying.
Cheers!

Hey

I spoke to him he can make then with a tan base but the soles you have to paint. I didn't go for that option because it has a zipper

Armor update

I was struggling to fix some parts of my armor so I have commissioned Chris the Prop guy to fit and fix the rest of my armor, I am so glad his services are in the same state.

Chris builds Clone troopers and other Star Wars costume parts.

These image are from Chris the prop guy given me some updates.
