Hmmm I bought this kit in November. I wonder if they had already updated the molds? Still working on it but it will be done soon. The one thing I wish they would fix is the holster. The blaster dowesn't quite sit as nicely as I'd like it to

We used the decals that came with the kit as a template and I think we only traced the black part and not the white outline that is on the outside of it so we can adjust that now. Thanks for the input Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Now that the app has fixed whatever was giving me the error and not letting me upload photos directly, I can post more progress photos so here’s a photo dump. LOL Snout piece painted Flak vest, cummerbund and “diaper” made by Steph’s Imperial Outfitters EDIT: Realized that the closures on the vest and cummerbund are the reverse of what they should be ( should be right over left). Test fitting the bicep and forearm pieces with the gloves. Is the placement about right’ should there be the overlap between the two pieces and the firearm overlapping the glove? I’ve seen varying placements for these pieces and the picture in the CRL seems to be very congested for lack of a better term. Is there some leeway based on the wearse? Instructions on assembling the boot holster aren’t super clear. Am I close? I have DVH’s pistol and as you will notice in the photos in the album there isn’t a nice ledge for the magnetized edge to sit on so it just falls rightnout. That defeats the purpose of the magnet. Rotator bolt question. The bolts I have with the kit have a square section right up against the flat round bolt head. Does this get pushed through the holes so the bolt is flush to the outside? So my husband is Getting very frustrated trying to get the helmet to meet all of the above suggestions. The one “cheek” isn’t as even as the other and he’s trying to get that to line up with everything else. I have DVH’s hold out pistol which is rubber. I’m wondering if I should paint it black or leave it as is? If I do paint it, can I use regular spray paint or craft paint? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi again. Have any of you used a heat gun to shape your lens before installing it in your scout helmet? I was attempting to but it is taking FOREVER. Should I just use the installation clips that came in the SC kit?
