Thank you very much for the feedback. I did check with Steph Mortimer regarding the material for the cummerbund and the size of the pouches. When I ordered and received the soft goods back in 2018 she was using canvas for both the cummerbund and the pouches and has since change the material and the size of the pouches and we are working to get that item fixed, as I do not so at all and it’s pretty much the only thing of the list of fixes that I cannot do myself. I was needing a winter project so I will start on the other areas very soon. Should I post new photos as I go of the fixed items or/and do I post full kit photos once everything is fixed?

Hello! TB 71411 here. After a very long delay for a number of reasons, I am finally requesting Lancer Deployment approval. I’m very hopeful and excited for this opportunity not only because of what I’ve been able to accomplish despite my vision impairment, but also because I would be the first Lancer in my Garrison. The greeblie on the TD has long since been attached correctly as noted in my original build thread and is shown in the separate photos. The boot groove photos are recent. It’s been almost a year since my approval but FINALLY have some downtime and we can start the process of making the boots Lancer ready. TK Hubby is doing the work since I do not have the eyesight to do the intricate work (I’m legally blind). The pencil line pattern has been drawn on the boots for a long time and only needed a bit of touch up. The cutting has started using a hot knife. Here’s the progress so far. More work today. Repaired the barrel shroud and started the painting process. Hit everything again with filler/primer and one last sand. First coat is a silver undercoat. With use over time, and as scratches inevitably develop, the silver undercoat will look natural under the black topcoat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

More progress today. Used Bondo on one seam and glued more pieces together. Had to do some sanding to get the barrel to slide nicely into the notches of the barrel shroud. In the process of fitting, one small corner of the shroud snapped so I will have to use some Bondo to fix and strengthen it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
