Show me your shoulder brige and covers please
Frank75139 replied to jwnikita's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Personally I think 1” is too small, I like it a bit beefier, but who am I. No plans on going above basic for me so I’m ok with it. If your doing 1” I’d like to see how it turns out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Just wraps around and attaches with sewn on velcro. I can’t take credit for it, bough the armor mostly assembled, I just had to do adjustments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Congrats! No hurry on Lancer, if you chose to we’ll all be here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nothing wrong with being extra cautious. I always look at the CRL if it’s not mentioned it doesn’t matter how you do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you get the answer in the other post? If not it’s yes or no. Lol whatever is more comfortable. Leave it for more accuracy and what some people say is a better look or remove it for comfort if needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the CRL for basic doesn’t say but I know higher levels are light to medium gray. If you can get it slightly greyer that would be nice, it still looks white in the pic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s a good start. You’ll probably have to sand them to make them even which will also widen them a bit so you’ll be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Take deep breaths, breath in breath out. Those are suggestions, your dealing with plastic, it warps and every piece isn’t perfect no helmets are the same. I think it looks good. My opinion would be do what looks best for the top, the photo you have looks great. I put magnets on my cheek so when I close the lid it holds it shut. That should help correct the cheek not lining up and keep it closed when your wearing it.

Scout Trooper boots modification
Frank75139 replied to swagger's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
Agreed great idea. Being newer to all this would this pass basic approval with the snaps or is it best to add them afterwards? I’d hate to see someone do this and miss out on basic because of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Best place for Balaclava and/or Mic system.
Frank75139 replied to Qebenner's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
I got my speaker from voicebooster.com it’s the Aker 1506 10amp system. You can probably find them on eBay as well. For the balaclava I have two one is an Underarmour heat gear which is a bit more expensive but a tad nicer then my other which is no name from China that I got on eBay for about $3. Honestly just do a search for black balaclava and a bunch of places will show up. It doesn’t have to be specific, just straight black and no visible logos. I’d keep an eye on the construction though the cheaper one has a seam that runs across the top of my head. I started to feel that after about 3 hours of trooping with a helmet. Standard Biker Scout build/modification WIP

Looks good, and nice boot work. I think your good to go for basic. The drop box attachments do look slightly off but I believe it’s the angle. If you enlarge it and look close I think it’s good. I’d take some pics and submit for approval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
My Lancer Scout Attempt (finally)

I attached my pouches to the inside of my chest. It helps keep the chest weighted downward and doesn’t stress the bund. Food for thought... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Nice work glad to see you stuck it out. Not sure why but seeing you on the ring makes me want to put mine on one night and just walk around to mess with peoples cameras. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 30 replies

I’m a huge fan of velcro. My weight fluctuates and velcro helps with some water weight gain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Looks like it is coming along nicely. My web belt is held together with velcro. One side over laps the other and the velcro sticks well. The TD goes over it and helps keep it together as well. Edit... wait, do you mean the belt box webbing or the waist belt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
