STAR WARS CELEBRATION - LOS ANGELES 2027! APRIL 1-4
Harbinger replied to BikerScout007's topic in Announcements
I believe the Lucas museum in downtown LA opens in early 2027? Likely not a coincidence… -

I use ABS cement when I need a permanent bond. -

Encouraging the existing vendors to improve the product would be great, at the very least if CP would switch to canvas uppers vs. pleather it would make if far easier to stitch the covers on like the original props. -

Keep in mind they lack the side stripe the 3’s have, but I would love if someone made a repro as mine dried out (and those appear as well), no accurate boots out there sadly… -
Welcome, looking forward to your build!

Congratulations Micah!

Impressive!

Looking good.

Go for it. Outlet cover screws are pretty close, if you tap threads you should be all set.

I did elastic laces but I’m not sure it is 100% needed in hindsight. Knowing how the film boots were built they probably left them laced and tied the top hooks each suit-up.

Yep, some of us like to play on hard mode, but nothing wrong going pre-trimmed!

Holdout pistol v2 is a massive upgrade!

Need help getting rivets in boots and I’m done!

Maybe @Dmorja will let you see theirs at a troop? Local-ish. Agree with @rawktrooper though, less scary than it sounds! -
It will probably be fine. The scout armor (all white armor, really) is not pure white, either.
-
You’re never done. Just redid my knee return edges after a 2-mile walk in armor a couple weeks ago.

Nice!

I paid a tailor to do all my goods, TBH I now regret having the opportunity to learn to sew as I’m already needing repairs and have to learn anyway. Such is life!
-
Congratulations on that weight loss, not easy I’m sure. I actually lost some weight in between delivery of my soft goods and finishing my TB kit myself, and had to have my flight suit and other goods tailored. PS: Boba is one of the few costumes that you can join multiple clubs with, you may have a quicker path to membership (and others!) while you work on your kit.

Ditto, congrats!

Congratulations! Welcome to level 2!

Congratulations!

Congrats!

Another vote for the UA one. Had a cheap $5 Amazon one. Fit poor, felt poor, breathed poor. Just spend the extra $20, worth it.

Congratulations fellow Lancer! Tip of the spear!
