  1. So I was looking at the inside of my coat and the lining on the inside looked really similar to whatever was used for the cummerbunds in the movie. It's that swishy nylon type material. Anyone else ever thought this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. They look good. But just curious, did you use a zipper on the back? If so that's gonna hold you up on approval as it needs to be close up by 1 inch Velcro Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Same here, it's super light but still enough weight to make the holster droopy. A foam blaster would weigh nothing, that would be awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The boots look good overall. Nice job shaping the vinyl on the toe portion. But did you use a zipper on the back? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks guys. I like the Velcro idea gonna give that a try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Did my first troop last night and everything felt super comfortable and held up well. HOWEVER, I was getting a little bit of boot sag from the weight of the blaster. It wasn't too bad, but enough to aggravate my OCD mind when it comes to this costume. I'm sure this is a common problem, any good advice on this issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Doing an event tonight, so I'll be sure to get a good photo to send to you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nice job Alan! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Lol yes I'm definitely looking forward to that. Sandtroopers aren't known for sitting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Tim! As you know this very quickly became an obsession and I'm sure everyone will be happy to have a break from me constantly talking about scout troopers lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. For armor there are a few different choices. The most popular being studio creations. They give you all the armor pieces/helmet pieces and strapping needed to put it all together. Just type in studio creations biker Scout on google and tthere website will come up. Walts trooper factory on facebook is also another good option for scout armor. For the gloves check out Wampawear.com they sell really nice scout gloves. For the flight suit most people use the Red Kap black coveralls which can be found on amazon for a decent price. As for the boots and soft goods check out the sale/trade are on this forum. There are several vendors that can make that stuff for you. Or there are multiple tutorials on this forum that show you how to do everything yourself and save some money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Will do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What a great way to start the day! Thanks for the quick response! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Agreed. I always thought the scout looked so cool in the picture from the newest battlefront game holding the DLT-19. Plus I own a hyperfirm one that I use with my sandtrooper and I love carrying it around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Awesome, thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Any other feedback? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I think 1 inch is fine that's what I used too. I believe he meant yours sticks out a bit too far, not the actual size. But it's not a big deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I think if you go 7x8.5" that will look much better. And like others said don't fret, I made 2 cummerbunds, 3 cods, 2 flak vest and 2 sets of pouches before I felt "happy" with them lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks Constantin! Looking forward to hearing from others.
  22. And here's a back view of the boots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ok had to use my phone so apologies for the quality not being as good as previous photos, but I raised the cod about and inch or so, was pretty easy and I tightened up the Velcro on the boots so they are tighter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks, those are fairly simple fixes. I'll try to get some new photos up today! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Just my opinion, but those pouches are a bit too big. Consider wearing you belt a few inches higher. Ideally it should go across your belly button. It's different for everyone but my pouches are about 5.5inches long by 5.5 inches wide. Also if possible try bringing your shoulder bells closer to the shoulder bridge.
