  1. That's a done deal. I ordered the SC bucket, and Jeff said I'll likely have it in 2 or 3 weeks. That's a bit better than wondering if I'll see my helmet sometime in the next decade. The SC helmet may be more appropriate for trooping, anyway.
  2. I am filing a complaint/case through PayPal and pulling out of this BS. I am pretty upset with these guys because they are not communicating AT ALL to me. I am done with this. Going SC. Although Jeff's is not going to be quite as good/accurate, it IS a good looking, and mostly screen accurate scout helmet, plus Jeff's service and turn time are excellent. RS Propmasters bucket will undoubtedly be awesome... In 2017.
  3. Wow. Good thing to keep in mind for the future! Thanks (to both stasz and WinterG) for sharing the experience.
  4. It was a guy named Timothy... I don't know if he goes by any "company" or "organization" name. I have them in my possession, and they look/fit great. I think he did a great job. Probably not the person you are thinking of. ** Update ** Got the balaclava yesterday, and I am doing the TD and back tank/hump in the next day or two! Super excited to get out there and scout.

  10. I'd like to add that SC is packed very nicely, and the guy includes so much great stuff like the pinstriping for the tank and whatnot. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the attention to detail Jeff gives. Great product, and fast. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  11. I am getting really concerned about the release time of these helmets. If they are not starting to ship out around 2 months from now, I am getting money back and going SC or something. I really hope I don't regret this... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  12. I like you.
  13. I have been looking around, and it seems quite a few people have gone through DV to get a blaster in the last couple of yrs. I noticed that DV is not crafting any at this time, and I'm wondering about a reliable and good quality blaster source. Can anyone PM me with details or a thread I have not yet found that might help? I love the thought of the rubber one, if anyone is creating that. Thanks in advance for any assistance given!
  14. I just wanted to give a shout out to a company called Big Red Workwear. I ordered the "Classic Automotive Coverall CT10" in Black, as Gabe from Max's Sci-Fi Creation Shop suggested. The ones I got are just a tad too small. I e-mailed Big Red Workwear about doing an exchange for a different size, and had a person named Jan help me. She has been very quick and descriptive, and the exchange is going smoothly. I e-mail her with questions, and she gets back to me almost instantly. Customer service matters, and Jan gets it. I hope this helps anyone looking for a set of the Red Kap coveralls that so many recommend.
  15. Aaahh Aahh... Scout looks like a laday! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  16. I am sending my redkap coveralls to Gabe soon. He'll be creating all of my soft parts. I don't have the skill or the time to create that, so I'll pay him. It'll be very worth it to me. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  17. I am really glad that there are women out there that get into the SW Universe this much. The awesome thing is that we're all scouts under the armor... it is hard to even tell if a scout if male or female, and it really shouldn't matter! If only my wife would get into it... lol
  18. I personally think the dirt being on the boots and not the armor looks pretty normal. The boots will get dirty faster anyway. It doesn't bother me.
  19. A mean lookin' scout right there!
  20. There doesn't seem to be an option for "build a kit" or "completely assembled." Does anyone know if these are created, assembled, and then shipped out? I am pretty sure this is the bucket I'll be going with. Have they given anyone an estimate on delivery yet?
  21. Are there any blaring issues with KS buckets? (other than the grey snout piece being inaccurate) I am getting very close to purchasing. Nevermind... I just read the thread about KS helmet issues. probably won't go that route.
  22. Are others seeing all of this formatting in my post (<p> </p>)? I have never run into this before. Odd. edit: I think I fixed it.
  23. TB-7076, I just joined BSN, and am now starting my quest for excellency in Biker Scout costuming. I have been reading these forums, and found several sources of inspiration. Some of the content you posted here really stands out to me. You have the passion, and it is enabling your costume to shine! Thanks for taking the time to post. It will help others in achieving the best scout look. I just noticed that you're in Germany. Your English is very good, if it is not your first language. Are you German-born? -Nikko
