this is what have so far for chest and belt location. and you can see the riding patch I have so far

got the 2in white elastic yesterday and I can now work on the chest/back armor its hard to see but there is loop attached to the end of the elastic made some t-straps too I used 1 1/2 in hook Velcro and added 1/2 inch elastic to make the t-strap added some to the end to attach the shoulder armor now on to the shoulder gaps I took some white duck cloth and made loops like in the panda trooper tutorial sorry no pics of making them more to come later I am thinking abut adding some glue to the shulder straps to keep them in place

I would love to see the finished product so i can get a idea of if i want to go the two piece way or attach the cod to the bund Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

did some after work today. added the 1/2 inch to the knees folded over the end and stitched it together added a white rivet and washers and its on my knee nice and secured on to the chest and back while trying to do the riding patches

More stuff today 😀😀😀 I got the 1/2 inch elastic for the knees today and will be adding it tomorrow or maybe after work tonight. I had to order 9yards to get it for free shipping so when I'm done with my knees i will have some extra for other troopers if needed Was trying to figure out the pain in the butt riding patches today. I used some painters tape to make a template and place the thigh elastic I think it looks ok from the front but nobody was home to take a pic of the back Should the thigh strap be higher???

replaced the rank bars with trooper bay bars old ones new ones

knees have the 1 inch elastic and a piece of loop Velcro on inside to attach to flight suit. waiting on my 1/2 inch elastic to finish the knees patch of hook on suit I had to redo the belt drop boxes to allow the boxes to move them back test fit everything to see how it fits and looks omg my room is a mess

I might have to re do the box straps to move the boxes back. The belt height I'm trying to find "the" spot where it sits so i don't get the big gut look when everything is on. OK. How does the width of the flap look. And the drop boxes on the belt are they ok? I want to get the belt right so its one less thing to work on Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

butt flap pinned at red line added the belt. the belt sits just above the flap TD added and I attempted to get a light colored background to see the length of the flap

ok now is the time I ask everyone to check the backside of my suit, should the mudflap be at the suit waistline or where the shorts line is? white line or red line?

ok so I have done some more....not a lot but progress I added some stirrups to the bottom of the flight suit. I used 1 1/2 elastic for the loops and im trying to figure out the belt and drop boxes. here is how one side is setup temporarily have flight suit on so I can see how it looks belt is at my actual waist or maybe a little high

i have a question about the patch. with the picture of the template posted does the curved part at the top run along the seam in the crotch???

ok I added the supplied Velcro supplied by SC to the new belt I have. then I added the strap to the belt. Being one of the troopers that had extra ewok at the BBQ dinner I attached the strap a little farther in.....attached it to the inside of the first box and then I secured it to where the end of the belt is with glue and a pop rivet

my new nylon belt arrived today..... I needed more material to finish my belt. is this ok cus this is what I got? The top is what comes from SC and the bottom is my new belt. comments?

got the laser cut TD clips from chief painted and ready for installation and screwed to the tube and on the back piece of the belt.....

That is what it looks like to me cus the elastic is between the kegs. Just pass the leg through the loop of elastic and it should be fine Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
