Can you tell me what blade type you used here (i.e. angled, flat) and how you approached your cuts? Your cuts are amazing! I just got the same exact boots so I'm following this thread pretty closely. Thanks for posting it!
I can't image that any undersuit is cool. Unless you're wearing one of those coolshirts that are used for racing. Then we add the vest and armor on top of that and a bucket. Be interesting how a scout looks under a IR camera . I just tried my undersuit (RedKap) on last night to check the fit and begin working on it and the first thing my wife said was "that looks hot" so I used the standard Pathfinder response "Why yes...yes it is".
I attacked it by breaking down the CRL for the scout to figure out what I needed. Here's a good place to start looking for what you need http://forum.bikersc...?showtopic=8569 from there you can go over to the Trade Forums but you might want to do a little homework first and understand what you need. I've been spending a lot of time in the Armory forums learning just how to do all this. You'll be much better off taking a little time to do the research and find what fits for you.
Jeeze the last time I sewed was in Home Ec in High School. I certainly can't judge I'm in the same boat as you as I don't have a sewing machine either. The local dry cleaning places do alterations for all sorts of suits and uniforms (I live near an AFB). Have you thought about looking into one that may do the sewing for you in your area? Just a thought. Best to you!
Does anyone know if there is a vest pattern available? I'd like to try my own but I want to make sure it passes muster for approval. Scout Trooper has a great tutorial but as I mentioned I just wanted to inquire and see if there was one out there. Thanks!
Good evening. I was wondering if there have been any updates to the vendor listing thread for all the items that make up the most decerning TB. It looks like the last update was 2011. I noted that the Hyperfirm link is no longer in use. I believe they have moved to Hyperfirm Weaponry [HFx Productions]. They've just released a new TB hold-out blaster. The glove link doesn't return anything viable either. I wasn't able to see the other links but I believe that I need more posts before those become open to me. Thanks for the help!
