yup. loots good, the bondo worked great on helmet. i bondo'ed the poo out of the inside of visor. i wanted it smooth and clean to get rid of the sharp edges and what not.

no think she recommends shaping the tank and getting it to stick to backplate, i just assumed cutting a hole and slipping it through was easier, i guesstamated the distance it gota stick through from that reference pic of the troopers on the ridge shooting down, it gives a good shot of that top greeb and how far it is away on neck line and such. now i know that is about as good as its gonna get ill tape it down and trim off the trash on inside and get it mounted good and tight.

so do i need to just build to the 501st recognized CRL if im getting cleared in the next 2-4 months (hopefully a lot sooner) or should i start tailoring to these minute changes now?

where in reference images do you see the 2-3" backplate overlap onto breastplate? just wondering where that bit of regulation came from

do you think this sticks out far enough from back plate, from what images i got off site i think its about the same distance/size of tank on backplate. and from what iv been able to get from the ABS/HIPS goo its toothpaste consistency. not really pourable. i might be doing it right, his looks like the plastic and acetone mixxed together, mine is just a liquid blob in bottom of jar full of acetone, am i doing it wrong? ie over saturating plastic in acetone

You can see the line of the shape on the tank where to cut or sand." from a pm with bikerchick, so from that im assuming to cut tank to fit back, i think that ill need to fill in and sand down those alignment guids though. i just did the cut through and fit method like MB it worked out great.

im actually liking the pouch material, if u dye it dark and use it as base camo maybe. but onto my original reason of posting. how are you attaching the back tank, and what are the ridges on the backplate for? they arn't even or spaced in evenly so what you do with them
