Regardless, I'm still carrying my DLT-19
-
I have a Hyper Firm DLT-19. I've added a scope and I troop ALL the time with it. Only at canon or non-weapon events do I leave it behind. It makes 100% sense for a scoped long gun to be part of the CRL. Please?

I had the same thought, Chex. If you do it, let me know and I can chip in a few....
-
Heheheh done and done! Can't wait to get them!
-
Ditto to Chex. Velcro on top of bund and inside of chest armor, never had a problem!
-
Good job and congrats boss! Good to have you back!
-
Bump! I definately need a new greeb!!! If anyone has any info.... Thanks!

Different states have different laws. Here in AZ its legal to openly carry real guns... Nobody blinks an eye at a star wars guy carrying a rifle. Even loading or unloading in regular clothes its no problem. At one event I had to had a zip tie put through the trigger guard, but its not common. Freedom is awesome!

I ordered a hyperfirm DLT-19, which is basically the MG-34 with greeblies. Then I just glued on a rifle scope, and I've got my sniper. Will work great for if/when I go snowie, too. The 42 will be fine!

My assembled helmet was 4 weeks late, and that was back in Feb. KS does awesome work, worth the wait!!!!
-
They aren't too loud.... The fans themselves are quiet, but right by your temples they are noticeable. I can still hear fine, though. If someone is loud enough to be heard through the bucket anyway, you will hear them.

Looks good! I bought some of the specialized ones, but put them in the same place. They make a HUGE difference!
-
What they said! It always looks weird without the bund on. Trim the bottom of the shoulder bells for sure. No more than an inch, and maybe a wee bit on top. Looks good!
-
Order a KS, you won't regret it!!! Awesome helmet.

Bump!!!! Ticket received and donation made!!!!! -
What he said. I never liked brassards when I was in, and that isn't an exception. I DO like the idea of the unit or whatever "patches" being put on the shoulder bells. While part of me agrees very much with lonewolf, another part is opposite. I strongly idntify with the units I served in the Army, and that has stayed with me now. While a lot of work goes into the armor, part of the joy is making it your own. I plan on getting a spare shoulder bell to customize with a unit patch or two. maybe. LOL In short, its YOUR armor, make it how you like, but for canon events, no additions.

Congrats!!!!!! Maybe one of these days I'll get unlazy and get to work on my flightsuit!!!

Mike is right on. I've got SC armor and a KS bucket, and cant tell the difference. KS is also definately the biggest bucket around!
-
Man I wish I had room in my bucket for that kind of setup... My blasted head is too big.

And that is why we have the CRL. An established, agreed upon standard for all members to adhere to. Of course these were all hand made and unique suits....we're dealing with movies with limited budgets and not much CGI. The CRL was established for ease of use and standardization.

I measured and cut cardboard and created little boxes and placed them inside. If I had access to extra ABS I would use that, perhaps in the future....
-
My helmet is a KS and I ordered it assembled. I got it quick, and it looks absolutely perfect..... so I dunno. This was about 2 months ago I got it.

Hw do you like my blaster pistol?

So you're gonna start selling these, right? -
I'm 5'8'' but a bit more than 200, and SC was fine for me!
