Thanks for your application. For me the ribs on the bund could be closer togther, then you could bring in your pouches a touch, the pouches also look a little under sized on your frame, lets see what the others have to say. -

Pretty good app mate, couple of things jump out at me, the foam filling in your pouches want to be covered as the black is showing, just over lay them with some fabric that matches the pouches and it will hide it. Second thing is you want to adjust your arm armour a little as it looks a little out, I only have quite short arms and my SC armour sat the same untill I trimmed some off the bottom of the shoulder bells and a little off my bicep tops, which then brought everyting in line and a cleaner better fitting look -

How tall should the shaft on the boots be?
4505Marcel replied to BH-0938's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
16" is reguarded as high your right, but not if your 6'5" It all comes down to looks and scale, I usually say you need a gap of around 20mm between the top of the boot and bottom of the knee armour for the look to be right. Boots will always sag a bit as they wear in, but thats just the nature of the beast -
Not bad at all, how did you cut the soles in the end mate?
-
They sure are, youve done a great job
-
Not bad at all mate, I probably wouldnt of used spray glue for the toes though, as the boots bend and crease as you walk the glue is more than likely to fail as its just not up to the job, far better to use E6000 or goop, you maybe lucky though but mine came off after a few troops and you can never get them stretched again as before. But looks wise toes possibly could have done with anouther stretch near the laces, not sure if you have the dog bone trims on upside down, but overall not bad mate
-
Yup I glue mine totally not just the ends, I use E6000 or goop and pin it down and tape while setting

Lets see some progress pics then matey

Im happy Im also thinking it could be the holster pulling it a little, if you look in the last pic you can see the crease in the boot starts at the bottom corner of the holster, ok as is but if you want perfect if the holster could be heated up to make it more curved to match your leg would sort it right out I think. But Im happy to go ahead as is as its more of less sorted, in any case there will always be a certain amount of creases, that is just the nature of the boots. Good work mate, you have a nice looking scout. -

I wonder if the elastic strap is what is causing your flight suit to be so tight around your leg, making the boot on the right hand side to look loose at the top as the left leg doesnt? Did you try just sewing a square of velcro direct to your flight suit to hold the boot up? -

Right your pretty much there, something has been brought up and that is the weight of the blaster pulling down your right boot. Now it does look like you have quite skinny calfs, so you have a fair bit of slack in the boot tops. This slack couldnt be taken up by Witness as you will then loose the shape of the boot making them un acceptable, so your stuck with that, but you could try velcro'ing the boot to your flight suit to support or add something to the inside of the boots bro, its no big deal just a tweak. It could even be the way youve attached the holster pulling it a little? I thought I mentioned this in your build thread? Get this done and submit a new picture, front on of you in kit, and your good to go mate I recon. -

Your forearm armour looks like it wants to go up a touch also bro Also a little tweak to your suede crotch patch would be needed, where it sits flat at the top, you can see corners sticking out each side of your cod, un pick it a little, trim some curves each side and re stitch, so the patch curves in at the top towards the cod. Have a look at Ducmans build as I got him to do the same mod and it looks 100 times better bro, easy fix -

The bells still look a touch flared to me, put some 25mm elastic around the bottom of both bells and your arms to pull them in nice and tight to your arm, which will pull them more into line with the rest of your arm armour.
