Eric, Have you done anything with the crotch flap? As bluecyclone posted, it's a bit wide. You could probably lose an inch off the bottom and the top easily on it. If you need any help on this, let me know, perhaps we can meet up or you can send it to me to alter if you cannot.

TB-2677 Requesting Lancer Deployment (WITHDRAWN)

Thanks Andreas, I look forward to you proving me wrong. Your costume looks great, just a few tweaks here and there and you'll be good to go. -

Andreas, Could I also see a few more pictures of your boots from various angles. You do not need to put them on, just on the floor or table is fine. Something like this and a few other views please. -

Could I see a picture of it similar to the one I just posted? In all of the pictures you have above it looks like it's glued or sewn on. I can't keep mine from waving in the wind -

Hi Andreas, One thing I would like to some info on is your mudflap. Yours appears to be attached completely to the rear of your undersuit, or am I seeing things? It should be loose at the bottom and sides like this: -

What the..? A surprise party?!? Who's idea was this? I'll kill ya! Well, I hope I can live this down. First I lose by 1 vote, now I'm working for the victor. I promise to do my best! *holds up scout salute* -
Mine tends to ride up and flap in the wind...

I'm sure they could set you up with one. The MOD STAFF label supersedes any Pathfinder, 501st Member, Lancer or Kashyyyk Trooper label. I bet the forums are configured well enough they could make a moderator label that also shows the Kashyyyk label.

Nice!

There we go, found the pictures and uploaded somewhere safe.

I will have to check through some DVDs to see if I have the files anywhere. My internet provider had reset webspaces and I lost the images. I had not saved them onto my new computer from my old one. I may have them somewhere, I'll look tonight.

Looks great!

I have seen a few threads over at clonetroopers.net but not much.

Is the ARF Trooper classified as a clone or a scout legionwise?

Lots of info here on how to make armor from scratch. Good luck, it's a lot of work! From another page on that site, he writes, "Sculpting in Clay I tend to use an OIL-BASED clay rather than Earthen based clay. Oil based clay does not dry out when left in the open air, eathen based clay will. Not drying out means I can walk away from the sculpting table at a moments notice and not worry about covering up my sculpture, or maintaining the clays 'wetness' as I work on the sculpture. Kleen-Klay, Chavant and Sculptey III are my favorite clays to work with. Sculptey is best clay for projects smaller than 3 inches long (you can bake it hard and sand in some very nice details into the hard surface)."

PM me too?

Real men own their own sewing machine. I had a heck of a time getting someone at Jo-Ann Fabric to talk to me about the specifications on the machine I purchased last year instead of my wife. The sales woman kept insisting on talking to my wife about what the machine could do. Once you've done a few items, you'll wonder why you never learned before.

Congratulations Berry!

I tend to agree. I'd think at a minimum the application threads should be added to a publically viewable forum once the person's application is approved. I believe it is kept on the low down to keep people from randomly commenting in the threads. The command staff are the only ones allowed to comment inside an application thread.

I believe the Lancer Deployment Request thread is open to Pathfinders only, not 100% sure.

Sometimes smaller is better.
