Looking great! Previous chest and back molds weren't going to work out? -

I'll be interested to see what route you go for the greeblies on the TD section, with the latest blu-ray pictures that have come out.

Looking good! Thanks for posting the link as well. I had found this in the past, but that link went dead. Luckily I had saved the same templates as you used before that happened . -

3D printing is amazing stuff! I saw a turbo prop at Cisco Live 2011 that was made up completely from 3D printed parts, unreal! Great stuff here!
-
I hand painted that area with a fine brush and some Frog Tape.

Great work .

Indeed. The grey one to the left is the same one that came with my MLCv3 and the white one to the right is the MonCal snout. I have no idea what snout currently comes with the MLCv3 bucket these days as I received mine in September 2010. I believe that the picture that Luis is looking for is of the snout that is shipped with the MLCv3 bucket today. That I have not seen myself.

I actually have a spare set of TD greeblies. If you need them, drop me a PM.
-
I bypassed it completely and used ZAP pads in the bucket for stability. Fits perfectly and doesn't require a chin strap at all.
-
I keep forgetting that MC = MonCal now!

On a side note...in case you decide to go Lancer... http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=1364 III. SOFT ARMOR 1. A balaclava worn under the helmet and tucked into the collar of the under suit (no skin should show). Ribbed neckseals, as seen on Stormtroopers, is not acceptable.
-
I bought a MC snout (i.e. the right one as Witness points out) for my MLCv3 lid and it is flat out awesome. The one that comes with the MLC bucket is not going to be enough, you'll have to add a separate piece above it (as the picture that Witness provided shows).
-
Most are dark green, yes. The black effect is a combo of the lens shade as well as painting the inside of the helmet black so that your eyes don't show through.
-
I can't speak to KS, but for my MLCv3 all I used was Rustoleum grey primer and called it a day. It matched the sticker decals that I got.
-
Love me some MLC v3 buckets! I have one myself and it is awesome .

Grats!

Looking good, just paint the small circular area (to the right of the red lined horizontal bar) white and you're set.
