mickeymark34
Hello everyone. I am getting ready for a troop that is later this evening. I had a question. What is the best way to connect the Chest Plate to the cummerbund? Currently, I have the loop side of velcro CA glued to the inside of my armor, and the hook side sewed on the top portion of my cummerbund. Is there a better way of doing this? Jakeputt
I've got my cummerbund attached to my flakvest by velcro and it stays put.
Chopper
My bund is attached to my flak vest, same as Jake. I also keep my chest armor from sliding back and forth by velcroing it to my flak vest, up near the shoulders.
mickeymark34
@Jakeputtand @Chopper Thank you. I think I'm going to make some alterations.
Aradun
Late to the game here Mark, but I do the same as above, only I use Velcro at the base of my chest plate to attach it to the top of the CB. It’s easier for me to remove the chest armor when suiting down compared to when I had the velcro positioned above my pecs.
iceknyght
Same, I velcro my chest plate to my cummerbund. I do a strip of elastic pinned to my cummerbund with velcro on the end to attach to my armor. I tried without, and my armor likes to slide back, but with the velcro in place, everything stays where it should be!
