I only need a tiny amount, but not sure I have enough scrap material to make even that much.  I had kept all of my TK armor scraps until I moved from MI to TN over a year ago.  I may need some if you can send just enough for me to cover about the size of what is shown in the attached pic.  I accidentally cut the strip slot on top before I realized I wanted it on the bottom, and I MAY have enough to make just that much paste.  Most of it will be covered by the strap, but I don't want holes showing on the sides that the strap won't cover.

@RZill @CRex75 is sending me scrap. Then we are going to facetime so he can show me properly what to do. Once we do that (shouldnt be more than 2 weeks from now) i will do the same thing with you if you like, or another member might help show you if thats too long. I am sure you could skip this part for now, as you have plenty left to do before submission right?Lmk if that be fine.

Possibly.  It will be a couple weeks before I get to it.  I bought acetone today, and I have some scrap from my TK armor.  But, I will maybe get more scrap from this armor once I try on the back and chest pieces to see if I need to cut any.  I'll let you know, thanks!

This is good prep work Scot. Hold onto these photos because you can use them for your Lancer submission (which I’m sure was part of your plan ). Looking forward to seeing your Lancer app and to welcoming you to the ranks!

Some Video Screenshots I took at 1am. Wife was asleep, so i had no assistance. I am trying to be able to put on my entire armor with no help from anyone. Im almost there. Two issues im having are:

Issue 1: Left bell tie unsnapped when i raised my arms.

Fix: Crimp top snap button a tiny bit to strengthen the bond.

Issue 2: CB arch does not line up with the Suede arch in front.

Fix: Buy new flight suit. Done ☑️

Issue 3: CB is loose fitting around my body and sags on sides.

Fix: Tighten Velcro in back with wifes help & Sew it to remain that way, or ask for help putting it on when troopin.

Issue 4: Chin Strap is showing (I think it's just the camera angle?)

sl6w4JBoVRL3R9eRGu78xFc6OR04QIvbpNef-tiN

Fix: Cut the dang thing out and be happy because it no longer smacks you in the face when taking off your bucket!! Or ask another experienced member what can be done. The photos do not show my legs for a reason. My flight suit is too baggy, plus too short in the length to my boots. The cod arch is not lining up. These are just for others opinions, and to keep my WIP alive. Sorta joking..heh

@Chopper @Retrofire @BikerScout007Good evening fellas. I am having an issue that @CRex75 was helping me out via video chat. Can you all or just one give me guidance on what to do??? I know something isnt right with my tank attaching to the backplate. The rivet head i think will break thru the tank because the backplate is too far away!

I wanted to get this fixed before my flight suit christian made for me gets here on the 28th (4days).

Here are some photos i took to give you an idea of the issue im having:

Hi Scot, the bottom rivet was originally only intended to hold the 1/2" elastic onto the tank. It does not need to go through the back armor plate as well. Whether or not you choose to use the optional 1/2" elastic, it shouldn't be an issue if you only put the rivet through the tank and nothing else.

If you still want to put the bottom rivet through both the tank and back armor, then you will need to get a longer length rivet from the hardware store. Guessing one with a 1/2" pull would prob work.

Yep I was just writing about the same thing when Choppers reply came though. I would recommend that you listen to Chopper as he's the real deal.

Relax take a step back and breathe my dude. It's all good. You got plenty of time before your suit comes in so take it slow and easy. Rushing it is only going to stress you and make you more prone to mistakes.
