Hi Dave, thank you for your continued patience. Please keep in mind that the Lancer review is a team process, so we have to make sure that all parties get a chance to weigh in. Feedback is not always instantaneous, but rest assured, we will get back to you shortly.

Thank you again!

Hi Dave! Apologies for the pause there. I got called into work on nights for awhile and I'm just getting back into the swing of things and getting my body clock readjusted to the sunlight.

Ok your bund/belt positioning are still a bit low. Adding some velcro to the back of the bund and vest will help keep it from drooping on you as you dress and during your trooping activities.

Chopper has marked your last photo in green about where the belt should be. Your bund should be sitting on top of where the belt should be re-positioned.

[EDIT:  The bottom of the pouches should be touching the top of the belt too! -- Mickey]

We've zoomed in as close as we can with the images he provided and we can't see the bottom edge of your bund. So it's making hard to make a determination there.

We'll need you to pull your belt/bund up and then please take the highest resolution photos you can of your front, right, left and back sides and link them via your Flikr account so we can zoom in.

There's just this last bit before the finish line and you're right there after doing a great job!

The Velcro sounds like a great idea , I will get onto putting strips onto the vest and the bund ASAP .

Is there a way of a zoom call or armour party video call again after I’ve added the Velcro as I feel it’s this last dress issue that’s letting me down .

Ignore the cod on first pic as I’ve altered that but heres the last 3 kitting up photos. In the last photo are we saying the bund need to come up more so the armour sits closer to the pouches ? Therefore lifting the bund bottom up, making the belt need to come higher ?

Cheers guys

Yes!  Not to sound like your dad but "Pull your pants up, son!"  I get that this is merely a "fit and finish" issue -- but that's pretty much what Lancer is!

It can't be overstated how close the belt sits to the pouches in the film.  Remember this was the 80s, people wore their belts on their waists, not their hips like we do today:

I will get kitted up when I can and get some help to make sure it’s all in the correct position.

I will pull my pants up and hopefully drive this over the finish line lol

The Velcro has worked brilliantly, from top to bottom everything seems to now fit where I need it and it should be every time I get kitted up

Cheers guys
What do you think ?

Hi Dave, thank you very much for the photo.

However, to reiterate what Retrofire requested on 10 Oct:

Please take the highest resolution photos you can of:

  • front
  • right
  • left
  • back

and link them via your Flickr account so we can zoom in.

From there we can do our final review assessment and hopefully we should be good to go.

Thank you again!
