Hi Jason

After a quick 501st search of the Bolivia outpost (of which there are three people), the shop owner's name doesn't match any of them. I would recommend going with a more reputable supplier for your first armour, as buying it to find it doesn't meet the criteria can be an expensive mistake.

On the other hand, some of his products are backed up with screenshots from the films (mostly soft armour) and he has a 5 star shop review.

However the armourer @Statz should be able to verify the accuracy but it is shipping from Bolivia. Maybe getting an armour set from SC (who is based near Atlanta I believe) would be the better option. Many people on the forum use SC, from me to BikerScout007 (The XO)

I'm not sure if we're allowed to publicly give you links to armour distributors so if you want, I can PM you the link to SC.

Tbh I was looking at this guy for the jumpsuit so this would be interesting to see if this guy meets 501st standards.

The maker you mentioned is understood to be one with known issues with delivery/communication/refunds, operating under a different name. It's decent stuff - If you get it in a relatively timely fashion or at all.

My best advice would be Buyer Beware. Much can be had as good or better quality without the hassle and extra cost of international shipping. And potential headaches...

Huge thanks for info and yes agree international is always tricky. The soft goods did look great though. Will check out the ones mentioned. If you have chance please PM me. Cheers!

I believe this is CUCBlack, he sold things on the Pathfinder boards, but had major issues with his local post office and that caused missing items and large delays... on the other hand, his stuff is quality. Just be aware... Etsy is a different world and he is held more accountable through them

I also stumpled across this Etsy shop while researching sources, as far as I can value this... the stuff looked good to me but then there is the "etsy thing" which doesnt seem trustworthy to me. I will defo buy my armor kit elsewhere

I'm putting together my first set and I went with SC. Jeff is around/in Athens, GA and I saw somewhere that he is a 501st member in the GA Legion. Even with the holidays, he made everything and will do discounts if you do the armor and the bucket. He's very good about responding to emails as well. I hope this helps.
