Those colours look perfect Bselph,

The only thing I can point out is your black strips should only be as thick as your belt.

if I don't hurry up your gonna be finished (again) ;)

So the black strips just stop on the belt and not the cummerbund base? Hey, I'm sure ill have more to fix!

I have to admit, the mirrored green lens is really a much better look. Cumberbund looks good, just too new and clean :P Good luck with your submit

Thanks for the heads up Matt! Got the film pulled off from the glue, cut a piece of clear lexon for the new lens, and put it on the right way. Worked great!

Not so lucky, I had glued the shiny side to my lens and then as I went to try and put it in my bucket the film came off the green side.

Gonna have to get another piece of lens and a new green tint but it's passable at the moment (even up close)

Allan, Lowes carries lexon and other plexi. I got a squard foot piece of lexon for like 2 bucks already cut. I just used my old lens, traced the pattern, and then I had to use my cutter bit on the Dremel to cut it out. The other plexi I got shattered and chipped when I tried to cut it, but the lexon worked perfect.

Tim, I have extra Lexon and the extra film you can grab Saturday from my house.

Tim, All credit to Matt for his gracious tutelage and support.

But, frosty beverages are always welcome at the Selph household!

Hey guys, is the notch above the nose supposed to be painted black???

Posted

Like the outside of it? No but the inner edge of it yes (just like the rest of the inside/backside of everything else)

Posted

No on the outside. There is a little notch above the nose, which I have seen painted on some and not on others.

Posted

The little notch above the snout can be black. It's just a little slit, almost like a vent.

Some people even take a Dremel and make a very small opening.

Or just paint it. B)

I have mine dremmel'd out, so I thought you ment the inside of that hole... But yeah if you didn't cut it out (which isn't a requirement) then I'd just leave it as is buddy

And approval has come. #27! Couldn't have done with without you guys! Made a world of difference having Matt, who has all the knowledge, and Allen and Tim, who were running into the same issues as me with the same kit. Thanks again guys!

Great news Brent. Glad it all came together for you. Thanks a ton for your help at your AP yesterday.

That's wicked!

Glad your approval finally came, I was starting to wonder!

You guys are lucky you have other members so close, I checked my area and the closest to me is a couple hundred KM :( LoL

Yeah it was a lot of fun to be able to hang with Tim and actually go over issues and help one another. His is coming Along quite nicely. It also helps for Tim to have someone who has gone through approval so he knows what our GML is looking for.
