  1. Looking good. I used Velcro for all my rigging. Hot glue will not do it. Use e6000. I didn’t use any other glue except the adhesive from the Velcro. Need some Armor maintenance after 10 troop. Velcro starting to peel off but e6000 will fix it. Weathering looks good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Mine is a Altmann helmet, and i am using a breast feeding fan. USB charge no complicated wiring [emoji23] It ll last 4hrs on low power and 1.5hrs on high power. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Looks ok to me. Maybe the senior scouts can give some inputs. The brown looks about right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Finally one for the armory I had some hiccups during painting, had to ask fellow scout Psyfool to finish it up for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Tank mounting wasn’t my favourite part, but I love the next step. Installing the pin stripe and tank topper.
  6. Nicely done clean cuts. I agree on sanding ABS, it’s quite easy to work with.
  7. Looking forward to your build. I have a similar set up with my helmet and armor. Besides my TIE Pilot costume, I find the scout kit is the most convenient to pack for trooping.
  8. Welcome, looking forward to the photos.
  9. I totally agree with you on chef. He tutored me along when I started work on my sons boots. I send him photos at the end of the day on my progress and he ll advice me on what I should do to improve on it or what’s the next steps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hello Stefan, It took me sometime too to join the pathfinder. I look forward to your build. As for the boots, I got mine from Chef Creations. I also manage to make one for my son. I would say it’s not hard, it’s doable and you ll need to find someone with a sewing machine capable of sewing thick material. I.e the marine vinyl. Attached is a photo of pair I made for my son. 20. I found out chefcreations offers scout boots too. Contacted them for more detail. There’s a small progress on my current pair. Will mount the holster and weather them tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I am still trying to stretch the boots. Wore multiple layers of thick socks and run the hair dryer over it. Stretch marks starting to show Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Anybody can share advice on IB sizing? I m considering the US size 11 boots. My normal shoes sizes range from US10 to 10.5 varies from adidas, DC and 5.11 tactical
  23. I already send it to cobbler, left it there for 4 days for stretching. Resorting to socks and hair dryer now. Nevertheless, I m still getting a stretcher
  24. Well…it’s my first with Crowprops. I m not sure what to say. My right foot fit good and the left foot doesn’t fit well. So if you gonna go with them, add a few more CMs to your measurements. Also don’t bother with your shoe size cos they ll not use it. I ll try to tolerate it, but if i m going to deploy and fight, I m going to IB and get a size bigger. Insoles are always available. i m going to weather my boots and hopefully ready for submission.
