  1. Hi Wayne, these greeblies look clean. I plan to print MPs for mine as well and use Automotive primer for print lines. What process / product do you use to clean up prints? Great progress, I'm closely following your build and taking notes for mine.
  2. Thanks for the lead Dennis. I received these speakers and added to this simple, but effective class D amp for my bucket. All should fit inside with no wires external. I posted a quick video in my build here: Mandalorian Bucket Electronics I'm putting this aside to focus on armor, but I plan to enclose this in a custom 3D enclosure and possibly loop some Mando clips from my MP3 player through the AUX input. An additional question, do you have a part number for the snout speaker? Best, Scott
  3. Thanks for the quick reply Chopper. I found this video from Mickey B. on YouTube. Very helpful tutorial that I've been referencing (along with RS). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnipWxolqdU Around 58:30 Mickey describes the variation on the greeblies for the TD. I'll send a quick note to MonCal and get their opinion. I've encountered similar debates on the E-11D in the past. Sometimes it can be a matter of variation with onscreen props or even suiting up differently (things upside down, etc.). Separately, I've already received MPs 3D files and will print out a version with the capacitor on the right and mount the greeblie on the long side of the TD. Thanks again!
  4. Shifting focus to armor, starting with the TD. I noticed my greeblie has the capacitor on the left, whereas the CRL shows on the right. I’ve seen reference photos with the capacitor on the left. Can't really tell from the reference photos on the forum. Does it matter? Sent with my kit: Reference photo: CRL: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Final act before the end of vacation…helmet electronics. Here, I’ve created a cooling and sound system powered individually by the push buttons (will make a 3d print bracket mount later) through a single Li-Ion battery pack. The sound is generated from a class D amp with mic and Aux input. The battery is charged from the amp board via onboard charging circuit using USB C port. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Removed quite a bit of weathering, save a few spots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Noted. Thanks for the feedback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Wrapped up the blaster. Assembled, painted and weathered. Ball bearings and magnet are installed. Fits nicely in the holster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Continuing on the blaster during holiday break. Primed and painted the blaster and then shifted focus to the guard. For MPs 3D 100% model 1/8”x1/2” flat aluminum worked well. Bent on the vice and set countersunk screw holes (#6 sink drill bit). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Assembling MrPoopie’s EC-17 Hold-Out 3D blaster. Adding real screws, trigger guard and ball bearings for rattle effect (and added weight). For MPs design at 100% scale, 6 x 5/8”and 1” pan head screws (capacitor and scope mount) and 4 x 2” for the scope fastener. Bearings are a mix of 1/4” and 1/2”. I will finish this off with a metal trigger guard and a strong neodymium magnet mated to another in my boot holster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It’s been a minute since I’ve had a big brown box day! Today, I received a package from Far Away It’s immediately apparent the quality of the armor. It’s thick, sturdy and well trimmed. Nice clean edges. Too bad I need to dirty up this beautiful armor… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I guess the main concern is the off center seam on the back. All else is centered on front. Sorry, just measuring twice before cutting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The actual length is 4” from the original velcro End. I’m committed to shortening it by 3”. Question is split evenly on both ends or just one? The only thing causing me pause are these inside Velcro pieces. What are they use for? Attaching to the jumpsuit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. @Aradun , can you post a link to the 5W speaker you bought? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. That’s a good reference. Mine is around 1 1/2”…similar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Received my Cummerbund and pouches from KriptonTop. Very good quality. My waist measurement must of been off, or I lost a lot of weight recently [emoji1787]. Either way, I need to shorten the length. I have some Questions. Should I simply sew one more velcro strip and keep the length or cut both sides to length and have one velcro sewn on? Off center…. Lastly, I’ve seen where the cod strap can be attached to the flight suit or the back of the cummerbund. What is easiest, in terms of comfort and suiting up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Merry Christmas! Finished with this Grogu sound effects-in-a-bag. I’ve got the volume down in this video, but it gets fairly loud. Button on the bag side activates the noises. http:// Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Build Progress Update: Picked up a Black Series helmet during Black Friday sales to experiment with weathering techniques and use as a reference for the overall helmet build. While waiting on armor, I’ve focused on the blaster. Started 3D printing several Noisy Cricket models, with the latest being from Mr. Poopie. His design is well-split for my Prusa setup and offers excellent options for integrating magnets. Progress is steady and promising! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Playing around with the idea of Grogu ‘talking’ while in the bag. Similar to my button activated Tramp setup. Found this little plush Grogu on Black Friday sale. He loops 10+ different Grogu babble sounds. I Gutted the electronics and added a small amp and speaker (also a deal..lol). I’ll clean up the wiring and add a lithium stick to power the board, but it is shockingly loud and simple. It’s also small enough to place in the pack. My wife hates the sound, because its sounds ‘sad’. But that’s perfect for this build (evil laugh). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Chopper, that's my TK neckseal! You answered my edited question above. It is indeed very comfortable.
  21. Thanks Bill! Glad to pull you back in! Thanks for the behind the scenes support brother.
  22. Some major purchases today, pressured by some good Black Friday deals! Awaiting BBB day. Here's the amended BOM: Question on the neck seal. Will a standard TK neck seal work for approval? This is the one, it has a zipper close and is more comfortable IMO.
  23. Another delivery today. Huge shout out to Brodustrial Light and Magic for this sweet P37 replica bag. Very nice quality and great communication. Additional Swag was a nice touch too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I’ve bought from Walt in the past. Was a good experience. He helped me out with some additional ABS sheets in a pinch. Nice guy. I’m a huge RS fan. My TK is from them. All said, I’m looking through the forums here to help make a final decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Good advice. I’ve seen them with cog patches. Those are acceptable on the flight suit so long as they are covered by the shoulder bell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
