  1. To the 501st Pathfinders Command Staff, I just wanted to extend a huge thank you for the time and guidance you’ve given throughout my kit build. The resources you’ve provided, and the support you offer through the forum, have been absolutely essential—and honestly, game-changing. A special shoutout to @Chopper, @Tarok, and @Aradun—your advice, patience, and dedication made a daunting process not just doable, but actually enjoyable. You’ve helped turn a pile of plastic into something truly epic. Thanks again for everything you do—not just for me, but for every builder chasing that screen-accurate dream. Scott B. - aka Sgt. Bilko

  4. Dry fit. Bag on the wrong side and my boxes need adjusting. Not too bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Putting the finishing touches on my helmet—complete with a speakers in the rear. Honestly, the fan’s about as necessary as a snowblower in the Sahara, but hey, it’s a cool breeze on my noggin! [emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Very light brushing, using a small brush in the seams and a larger brush overall. Super light brushing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Little test area…much different technique on cloth!! Very light application required. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Thanks. Next up, soft parts. I’ll trial on an inconspicuous area first or on some extra fabric to get the technique down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Thank you sir. Definitely a learning experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This was the first time weathering armor for me. I really struggled with the darkness tone needed. Also, my technique at the beginning was all wrong. ImI went back to Chrristina’s YouTube video and watched over again at 0.25 speed. Then things started to make more sense. I went back to Ace and bought the smaller brushes (not just the medium sized chip). This was my ah ha moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. @Chopper / @Tarok , does this look better? I’m going to use these to calibrate my tendency to over weather. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Yes. Oddly, I thought the opposite. The weathering seems a bit light compared to the CRL/reference pics. Maybe the second picture was in too dark of lighting. I'll try and get a better lit situation. Thanks for the feedback.
  24. Work in progress. Testing my technique with the bells. Thoughts on this first go are welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah, it is. It's a shame to begin mucking up the paint job for weathering..... Anyway, I'm starting the weathering this week. Simple parts first, to get the hang of the technique. Using Christina and Nick's builds as a guide. Thankful that folks take the time on this forum to post progress for others. Very useful.
