I don’t remember whose post I read this from but they suggested these for the belt clips.. https://www.knifekits.com/vcom/belt-clip-universal-sheathholster-model-black-tactical-finish-p-4192.html?osCsid=5risap5m6ku4teo8pqimcvkvi5 And I look forward to your build!..I just got my MC armor as well.

Awesome..good idea with the shoulder straps. Still trying to figure out how best to do those. Thanks about the t-bits...not sure if it's supposed to be satin or matte. -

I just got my MC armor and looking to start soon as well. Awesome...how did you do the shoulder bridges? For your T-bits, did you use just flat black or is that satin black? -
Nice! And did you like the little surprise on the interior?
-
Ah ok..thank you!

So most of the pics I've seen of the vest, the length looks really short, almost like a crop top. Do most of you not tuck these into your cummerbund? I would think tucking them into the cummerbund would make things nicer/tighter. Is it supposed to be tucked or sit just above the cummerbund or?
-
Awesome! I just got mine and yeah you will NOT be disappointed! There's even a special surprise on the inside
-
Ah..cool..thanks Corey! I should stick to the DVH one then...especially for troops.
-
Yes pics would be great. Also, what's different with the Hero version? Are PA ones made with the same material as the Hyperfirm ones where it can be dropped with no issues as well?
-
Helmet looks great! Can't wait to get mine.

Awesome...thanks for the feedback. Makes me feel better!

Well I’m finally on my way with my TB armor. I have my Altman bucket on the way and put a down Moncal’s armor since I missed Strider’s. Wish me luck with Moncal..I like their armor but the mixed reviews have me a little leery..so far so good though on all responses. Hope to do a build thread on here as well!
-
Thank you very much Mickey!
-
Thanks Mickey!...man you are on it with your responses! Wish I could say the same with some of the vendors!...haha.
-
Also, is there a DIY on how to do the collar? Especially on the redkap suits.
-
Awesome thanks...yeah one thread would be super helpful...thanks though!
-
Anyone know if there is a thread dedicated to just the Flightsuit for a tutorial/DIY? Or are they embedded within the different builds?
-
awesome..thanks again for the tips!..hope tthis works out!
-
Ah ok..awesome.

very cool...great idea Ken..thank you! any suggestion on what type of epoxy..I’m thinking more of a harder compound

Hm, it must be specific cuts on the side of the heels then I'm guessing. Wish the CRL would specify exactly what type of cuts. I agree with you though..I really like these boots and if they work for basic...I'm ok with that. When you riveted that strip of ABS on the inside of your boot with the elastic, did you heatgun that piece of ABS or did it just curve naturally inside the boot?
-
Anyone with an Altman's bucket, mod their faceplates in anyway to keep it open?
-
Looks good brotha..I like those boots. Wonder why these aren’t good enough for Lancer..the CRL just says ‘cuts in the heel and sole’..it doesn’t dictate how much or how deep..etc.

Belt Height Trimming to Boxes

Damn Corey, literally looks like you walked off the set of ROTJ -
Makes sense. I would think with every troop, you'd have to re-adjust, make sure again everything lines up just so. Only advantage I see with velcro especially on the sides between the front and back plate is if your weight fluctuates then you can easily accommodate the changes. Good points though!
