  1. Getting some pieces printed from my friend using shoretrooper and sean fields files. Just been slicing out and sizing to kbs armor I plan to cut everything off that's wrong. Back bondo glue and sand repaint and weather again Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  2. First bicep nearly off the printer 20 hour print each bicep Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  3. Sending in pants for repair and pouches for resizing thanks to darkside closet for help Tried resizing my biceps I got like another 2 inches removed. My friend calvin is 3d printing me new ones more to my size. Using Sean's files Probably gonna change my gloves to the ones I used for shoretrooper from harbor freight the all black mechanics gloves. Dont like paying 50 bucks for gloves and it's nice to have a couple of pairs to have one to dry out Kb I think is gonna resize the shin plates still good discussion on other threads here about that Idk how I I about that yet but open to suggestions to get it right I think for faulds I'm gonna use worbla and engrave with a triangle bit. Right now its 12 x 12in. I think the size is probably right my ab was sitting low because I didn't have my harness installed yet so gonna hike that up more to get belt up more. That was good advice I'm gonna adjust it to be mounted directly on the belt instead of on the ab armor. Probably use fabric glue and make loops and than straps on the fauld with a snap or velcro. I have an idea where to mount using belt boxes as reference Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. For transparency this from dl on the fb build group. I shared this with kb and jsin as well so hope this clears things up we are all just excited. I was building stubbornly under the impression it was never gonna get approved or a crl and I was gonna have to build for fun. Which wasn't a problem. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  5. Im not approved lots of things to work on still Just got go ahead to work towards building the crl Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I didnt have my harness on which is main issue. I think I might go 12 x 11 or 12 x 10 instead of the 12 x 12. Pouches I'm gonna ship tomorrow but think 6 x 9 The ab i guess i can redo if someone can point me to file. Would hate to cut sand back and bondo. But is what it is. Can always hide stuff with weathering. Pants I asked for tanker style pants. The pics arent great but they are duck cloth. I'm pretty clueless on the legs lol maybe PM kb directly and see if yall can figure that out. Not sure if supposed to have actual shin armor like shoretrooper with shin guard over it or just the officer style boots with the shin armor over it like I have now. But yeah they are big. 7. Used the same ab as the shoretrooper. Do the shoretroopers have to mod their ab? My shore was Jim so this has been my first time working with kbs stuff I know when I I the shoretrooper figure next to the mountain trooper the ab was 100% the same. Getting new biceps printed from a friend. The shin guards are getting redone and the pouches I think I'm going with 6x9 I'm mailing items tomorrow to darkside closet for adjustments. 8. Ah learned something new Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  9. But yeah I can take in the biceps a bit I think. Luckily I only used e6k Not sure how i feel about the knees i like them separate for mobility but shoudlnt be hard to attach with some scrap abs to make a bridge or maybe kb will just resculpt that part unless someone can make a 3d printable part that can be scaled depending on the person Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  10. What's a fauld Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  11. And I think I'm gonna actually attach those to the belt. But yeah the pouch and the armor are two different parts I dont know how youd realistically attach the pouch to the armor. The armor goes about from the front edge of the small belt box to the back edge of the belt box by the td Length I think will depend on trooper but shouldn't be past knees. Myself and other troopers will probably have to watch mounting or just take a bit off. Cant really put a number on width either since ab armor gets fitted to the trooper. And the belt than is adjusted to the armor. Everyone is gonna be a bit different Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  12. I'm getting the shin guards redone by kb they are bit too big. The pouches I'd like to come up with an answer by monday morning so I can send back to dsc I agree the pouch is too big The belt boxes are 6cm wide and I think it about 2 belt boxes wide an a bit more. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  13. I attached the pouches with velcro over the hip armor Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  14. I'd probably take away the "lightly" word for weathering. The action figure is medium to heavy depending in how you light it. I didnt go near as heavy with my kit but I could see this trooper getting more beat up than youd think like the shoretrooper Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  15. I have some adjustment left to make for dressing and need to work on posture. Was a pain doing things on my own but should be able to get pics take by myself. But hey at least I have something to nitpick Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  16. Almost done i just used straps and velcro to do the hip armor and pouches Took my boots out in the dust and mud a bit same with pouches Just waiting on post office for my shoulder straps. Ordered some rubber ones because i broke my resin ones. But yeah getting towards the end Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  17. That makes sense I'm in Orlando too for weekend. I think I'm gonna press with my idea to just do for fun. Got to ride rotr on Saturday We have some non lfl events I got ok to wear at as well. Just wont count for census etc. Would not suggest this costume to anyone looking to join legion. But it really does turn heads. Hopefully once I get my straps from jsin I can finish up soon. Maybe by my birthday in march. Just need to weather than finish hip armor belt and shins. Everything else is rigged and fitted Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  18. I'm pressing with my build just figured out shin straps today We have plenty of troops local I can wear non legion approved costumes so that's good enough for me. As long I look like a real life action figure I'm happy Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks almost to finish line got a few tips from story group about weathering I'll try to document that as I go But gold nitter is used throughout battu Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  20. Soft goods in I'm almost done just need to buy gloves. Than it's a matter of fine tuning my rigging Weathering Putting belt together Got a day off on monday so see what happens Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  21. Neat pic but its just the one pic of the figure pasted on the background. Kb props and jsin were going to make the suits for the parks but I think something fell through because it never happened. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  22. Some warmer days meant I got painting done. My belt came in soft goods are almost done Bucket is done other than weathering and little details Working in shin straps. Using 1.5 webbing and cutting rubber mat used for fo belt material. Going to glue those together and velcro under the plate Still have some painting and fitting on belt boxes to do Than of course attach everything to belt. I plan to drill and using screws for my td to hold to plastic piece On my boxes I've learned to use elastic cording and webbing to attach boxes to belt. It makes for more flexibility and no screws breaking Still need to finish hip armor but got fit right now that ab and belt are in Just need to need to get edges perfect glue together hit with the plastidip primer and paint Waiting on jsin to send updated rubber straps as well Than just fine tune strapping and fitting Hoping to get done by my birthday in early march. Than will have for tier 3 events on may the 4th since my local squad leader said that was cool Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  23. Is this at Disneyland or Disneyworld? Was trying to find online to buy but cant find anywhere on Disney store; would be willing to pay someone that is going to parks soon for a set maybe 2 I have a friend locally that would probably want one too
  24. Oh man I want that set Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  25. indeed I have kb armor in hand it's ready to be casted on demand and its been based in the action figure We don't have any other solid reference yet and maybe never Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
