  1. Saw this posted in the thread on the Legion board. Seems like a step down from the picture shown. Smaller logo and it looks like it’s heat transfered on, I thought these would be printed.
  2. Great design and a great way to bring the Detachments different costumes together!
  3. More pictures from The Replica Prop Forum: Look at that jaw flair out where the front/back meet. Add to that the huge gap on the visor and this is not looking good. And this is from GINO (posted on the RPF).
  4. Hey! I just got the fabric to strengthen the cod. I’m plugging along but real life is keeping me busy.
  5. I use that method aswell.
  6. Yep. Check out the Lancer application threads for more examples of peoples application pictures.
  7. They look abit tight, they should not be pressing in the suit, just go around the outside. Elastic loops are a great idea, really helps.
  8. I think the distance between the chest/back is fine, and it will be even better once the straps hold them together. Your drop boxes should look like the one on your left side, hanging straight and centered on the side of your leg. As for the shoulder armor, could be that you need to have a slightly longer zip tie to make them hang Well. try adding the strap around your arm to hold them in towards your arm. The bicep armor should face to the side, rotated too far towards the back now. The arms of your vest are too long unless it’s because it’s not fastened at the back, and your cumberbund should not show under your belt. Also (and this is the advantage of a separate cod piece) your cod piece should not tuck in between your legs, it should only cover the front. This helps eliminate the dreaded camel toe.
  9. I agree, the top looks to short.
  10. yes, it’s Totally up to you.
  11. okay Like I said, one thing off white = everything off white. The bund and cod, and the main belt stays white.
  12. the belt strap should be white. If you decide to use off white soft parts, then the shoulder bridges, pouches, drop box straps and the side straps on the chest/back armor should all be off white.
  13. they are sewn on using the same color thread as the off-white straps.
  14. It attaches to itself. You put the strap through the slot in the front armor, then it wraps back around and attaches to the inside of the strap using velcro.
  15. Another picture found on the RPF. To cost that much and to get such a gap and uneven trim.
  16. Well done!
  17. It was recommended to me by Chef, who I bought my armor from. I think it works well, and it's easier that cutting the straps and affixing them to the inside of the armor IMO.
  18. Looks good sofar!
  19. My eyes are bleeding!
  20. That is the strap for the side connections on the chest/back armor. It wraps around inside the back armor. I did mine the same way but put a piece of elastic in the middle to make it more flexible.
  21. As a 1/6 collector, I need To be picky, there is not Hot Toys Scout Trooper yet. 😊 the SS was a good effort but after I started my build I sold mine, to many things bothering me about it once I learned more about the Scout. And the weathering was one of them. I think it’s to heavyhanded and the armor looks a bit beige because of it. It should be white armor with weathering, not so dirty allover that it looks beige with Brown weathering. Add to that the boxy looking knees, tiny blaster, a helmet that to me looks elongated vertically and...okay, sidebar about 1/6 figures over. I have not weathered my armor yet but as is often the case, less is more IMO.
  22. Just completed this mod, really happy with the result. Love the fact that you can detach them, and it's easier to get them centered compared to when I glued them.
  23. Shoulder bridges have been replaced. Just waiting on new material for the cod.
