  1. 1) I will actually be able to ride, though I will only do it for a quick video... 2) It will be easier to walk around, although this one gets to break the rules a bit. You weren't supposed to take photos in the autograph line, but Karen made an exception for this, as she asked for the photo! The scout will be 1,000 degrees cooler than my wookiee... But really though, I am looking forward to working on my TB armor and getting this kit approved and rocking!

  3. Thanks Jim. I'm in court today, and unfortunately, have to travel tomorrow for a memorial for my wife's great uncle.
  4. Thanks Mickey! I appreciate it man!
  5. I have a few questions. These things were specified for my TK, so I thought maybe I could ask these here for the scout. Are there specs per armor regarding the following?: 1) Sizes of rivets on the knees 2) Sizes of the rivets used for the tank top and bottom 3) Spacing of decals on helmet - length of area above, below, to side before decal? 4) Spacing of tank topper from back. It appears that some are closer than others. 5) Are the drop box clips (black safety clips) that come with the kits approvable as is for Lancer? 6) How far apart should the rear straps be for the drop boxes where they attach to the belt? I think I have all in order as far as ordering straps (posting to for clarification, in case I am wrong). White webbing - 45mm or 1 3/4" - for chest/back sider under arm White cotton webbing - 25mm or 1" shoulder strap size 40mm or 1 1/2" - for belt straps 50mm or 2" for main belt (in rear) black elastic sizes - 35mm or 1 3/8" for biceps, shoulder/Back to shoulder bells 25mm or 1" for forearms and bottom of knee 12mm or 1/2" for top knee
  6. 501st Approval : Flat black, semi-gloss or slightly weathered. The pistol should not have any visible trigger, labels or logos. *** Looks like you will have to remove the trigger and make sure there are no visible logos*** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LANCER: VI. BLASTER 1. Kenner toy blasters, modified Kenner toy blasters or resin recasts of Kenner toy blasters are not acceptable due to the fact they are approximately 10% larger in scale than an accurate blaster should be. 2. Resin or hyperfirm rubber blasters are acceptable. 3. Blasters with triggers are unacceptable as no screen props had them. VII. OPTIONAL 1. Weathering is completely optional and is not to exceed that which is seen on screen. Excessive weathering is NOT acceptable. 2. The following items are not required for the Lancer standard, but they help push your costume to hyper-accurate levels: - One piece black motorcycle racing suit (1970's era Esprit motorcycle racing suit). - Voice amplification system using a mic and amplified speaker-- could be all self contained within the helmet, or the speaker can be situated externally either under the breastplate or in one of the pouches. All mic cables must be hidden. - Screen-accurate Esprit motorcycle gloves. - Boots based on screen-accurate Sierra Sneakers hiking boots. - Barrel hole drilled in blaster muzzle. - Scope modified to portray working scope.
