  1. Good call. Right now, I have a bit of velcro on a strap keeping the chest over the bund.
  2. Thanks Jim! Will retake with forearm armor fixed. Is the cumberbund appearing below my belt an issue?
  3. Took some photos today in the lovely 90F+ degree heat of Texas... In the bucket off photo, my drop box raised a bit, but was fixed for the rest of the pics.
  4. Sorry for the delay in postings. Life has been a bit busy lately. Our little boy is due in one month and 19 days. Preparation (getting the house ready) has been a lengthy process... Plus, all of this: My Hummer died, and I needed a replacement vehicle. Had to get something capable of towing my band's trailer, and so I got his: No 501st vehicle is complete without some proper stickers: My new B.C.Rich Mockingbird arrived. We attended a NTX armor party. So, TFA, TK, and TB armor was being worked on: Dunlop sent my next batch of guitar picks and a Micro Flanger pedal (hidden here by picks): My living room looks like this right now, as I work on the belt, boot holster, chest straps... Attended a 4th of July at Peter and Angie Mayhew's house. My wife's hand vs Peter's: The Chewie room: The original Episode IV script: The belt, almost complete - before measuring the length of the drop box straps: Trying on the belt with regular clothes. Later, I put on the flight suit and cumberbund to check the fit: Back of the belt with try-on. Trimming needed on back straps. TD was sitting high. Clips weren't sitting level:
  5. Absolutely brother! I'd say we have both done well, if we are still married and have that many axes. I just moved from Mesa Boogie amps to Randall. Absolutely love the high gain and crunch I get! http://www.randallamplifiers.com/th_artist/steve-page-rivethead/
  6. Ummm... Might have to write this down... 1) Black Warlock (first BC I ever owned) - was a Platinum Series 2) Mockingbird (used to be nicotine yellow - wife had repainted to black and white Union Jack) 3) Black Custom Shop Warlock (before my earlier endorsement) 4) Black Custom Shop Warlock (from earlier endorsement - Bernie Rico signed the headstock- RIP ) 5) Black Draco 6) White Draco 7) Black with green RIVETHEAD logo B.C. Rich Bich (friend had custom refurbished) 8) Black translucent Mockingbird 9) New bulletproof black Warlock Core - from current endorsement - I also have a Thunderbird bass, two acoustics, and one travel guitar I think that's it?!?
  7. Thanks brother! Very pretty! This was one of our old stage photos:
  8. More distractions... New guitar arrived yesterday! Will get back to the build ASAP... - after a couple of nights of rehearsals and a big gig this Friday night at Trees in Dallas.
  9. A little promo video for May the Fourth The rest are here: One more added from 6:15PM news yesterday: http://www.wfaa.com/videos/entertainment/2015/05/04/26897811/
  10. Not much to add. Trooped Madness Comics in Plano, TX in my wookiee. Got to meet Ray Park. What a cool guy!!! I did make the holes to add the zip tie to the TD. ... and cut the slots for the straps.
  11. Thanks guys! I'm trying to take my time, and check to make sure I do it right. Thanks Jim! Our son is due in August. We are very excited!
  12. Oh, the distractions... I am working on my kit after band rehearsals and after cleaning the house (cousin is coming in from England) and painting our new baby room (due August)... First Order! New jacket! Testing the elastic on the armor over the flight suit. Biceps were a bit too loose. Otherwise, everything fit well. Don't mind the twisted flight suit. I put it all on quick, so it bunched up and twisted. Will be much better in approval photos. Knee elastic was perfect, so I popped in the rivets and then painted them white. I needed to shorten the bicep elastic, so it's reattached and gluing here. Hey, look: It's another bucket comparison: MLC v3 on left (I still need to fix my lines - will do soon). CB on right:
  13. A little bit more progress. I am using E6000 to glue in the straps. Clamping them while they dry. If they don't fit perfect on my flight suit, I can heat up the glue, remove the straps, and reposition them. That even applies to the knee straps (not pictured here, yet). I am gluing them to test fit, before popping the rivet in the top bit, although I have already measured, marked, and drilled out the hole for the rivets. Here's the shoulder white cotton webbing.
  14. Thank you sir! - it would be great to have a music video full of TBs and TKs... We might get in a bit of trouble, but we do have troops on stage with us from time to time... https://youtu.be/qjHhpK092ps
  15. Some photos of a little bit of progress... Curving the shoulder bells Tank topper - stickers added - rivet placed in center - will fill other hole and paint later Tank stripes added Marked inside for Pandatrooper style bent ABS for rivet Always have the CRLs and photos open for reference
  16. Welcome! My wookiee is 7'10", but my TK, and Biker Scout (WIP) is/will be errr.... about 5'11"...
  17. Armor arrived yesterday, so that was happy brown box day. I was too tired to do much more than open and check it out. I just got back from a video shoot in Big Bend, TX, which required about 3 hours of sleep over 2 days.
  18. Thanks brother! Armor arrives Thursday. Hope to be finishing that up soon!
  19. Did a bit of work on the bucket this weekend.
  20. Wow! That looks perfect Jim! I will have mine to work on at the armor party this Saturday with Cory and Shannah.
  21. Thanks Chex! I had some of it already from my TK build (elastic). Some of the other stuff I went a head and purchased just to make sure it was the right size and sort. - My TK kit was AM, so I am used to abandoning all the straps that come with a kit, minus a few. Maybe I over-prepared? Really looking forward to getting the rest done.
  22. Not yet. May do so this Saturday. There's a "unfortunate souls who are not going to Celebration" build party happening.
