Sounds like you didn't use a backing on the rivet. I used a washer, but the guys suggestions are better. The rivet can be drilled out. Use a bit size that fits in the head. Be careful not to overheat it, or snap the plastic.

Congrats Dude, nice work

Nice job on recreating the artwork. -
You may want to reshape the angle of the chest & back armor so it's more in line with your shoulder shape, if that makes sense. Reshaping may fix the chest moving up problem hopefully. The bridge shoulder join ( material ) should be approximately 1 inch I believe for accuracy. ****Edit: although looking at your signature, it looks good. I think more pics would be helpful in getting to the route of the problem

Help! Shoulder bell has buckled!
Eyeslave replied to AJay Irish's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
That looks like a hard warp to fix & if it was me, I would get a replacement off Jeff ( SC ). Always go slow when heating plastic & watch what's cooking in the oven -
Congrats Paul

Chest piece Trimming question
Eyeslave replied to AJay Irish's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Have you tried on the chest piece while wearing the undersuit & vest? I am a skinny guy and had no issue with the SC chest. -
Welcome aboard Pascal.

I have a cheap dremmel from LIDL ( European chain store ). I have it many years and it's still doing its job.

Good luck with the build Andrew

Good luck with the build. A Dremel is an essential tool to have. And being good with sewing always helps.

Rant about the RS Props biker scout helmet

Nice picture break down , very informative. Thanks. The visor join strips I've seen have been smaller, so I must look closer I think. -
Rant about the RS Props biker scout helmet
Eyeslave replied to Strider's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Nice video, thanks for posting. Noticed the visor joiner ( strip ) is way to big . Some poor mistakes on a screen used pull. Would like to have seen a more accurate hard hat liner. They glued the chin up strap? Doubt it was done like that on the original. And the lense, is that correct to the screen used one? The cut in the visor to allow the faceplate to lift up fully isn't what I'd expect from a screen used pull either. -
Advance Recon Team (ART) discussion
Eyeslave replied to BikerScout007's topic in Advance Recon Teams
The term pathfinder has been used by several sources and can in no way be 'owned' by the legion, so that is confusing. Obviously ART are not allowed to feature the terms, '501st' '501st Legion' 501st ( insert Garrison name )' etc.. I see no reference beyond that in the charter so I am interested in hearing Lesley's reply -
Congrats

That particular clone/snow scout was at CE London 2016. It was done by one of the Monaco Outpost guys. Think it was done just for fun and I am not sure if it's clearable. I would say if it was ever discussed it would probably be on Blizzard force.

Nice weathering dude. Only things I seen were your drop boxes, which you already fixed And your pouches. They are too close together. They look too wide to me as well, but by moving them, and maybe making them less square that might fix that. I use rectangle sponges, so you get the right shape, but soften the lines . Hope that helps. Best of luck with lancer

Nice job

Looks better dude. Mickey's comparison pics really shows how difficult it is to really nail an accurate look with various makers. Kudos for the job you did
