    I heard that a few people did get in contact with the buyer but I seriously doubt he will let them do that

    Gino, I must say that has to be the best scout costume I have ever seen anywhere! (aside from the originals, of course) I have a few questions regarding the helmets in the archive and the original costume. 1. Do you know exactly how many helmets were produced? 2. What type of balaclava did they use? 3. Do you know why the scout that fights han hand to hand has such a big faceplate lens? 4. How much different are all of the original helmets from one another? And how so?(minor subtle differences such as overall form, curves, flares, etc.) I totally understand if you cannot answer some or any of my questions but I am really dying to know lol

    you can tell by the shape and form that this one is an original. In the video the narrator says that it was never used and was nearly completed. I can only hope and pray that it falls into the hands of a propmaker :DDDDDD

    Do you know if the notch on the original helmet was a part of the mold or was it just added on after the helmet was vacuformed?

    Oh ok thanks! I will make an account real quick. I meant to say that it will look as screen accurate as possible in terms of the correct shape and size and form. I would make plaster moulds but I cannot afford a vacuum former sadly.

    You read it right! I will be using mostly these materials until the final stages of the build. I do need some assistance on the appropriate dimensions of the original helmet, however. PLEASE give me any advice or pointers on how i could improve this or do it differently as this is my first serious prop build. I feel determined to complete this and have it look as close to the original as humanly or alienly as possibe! Please no harsh comments unless it's constructive criticism. P.S. I will also not stop until this gets 501st approved!

    If you also notice the scout in the bottom two pictures on the right has a different shaped lens that is bigger than the rest. no two helmets are exactly the same.

    I was wondering if someone could tell me wether cucblack's helmet is bigger or the same size as the original screen used helmet. I saw a picture of someone wearing it and it looked HUGE and I wasn't sure whether the person in the picture was just small or whether it is just a lot bigger. Sorry this is kind of a stupid question.

    Thanks for the info! Now I will most definately NOT be getting one. For $700 you could get an entire Biker scout uniform (helmet and all) and still have some change. No offense to EFX as they make some of the best looking helmets but... yeah... offense to their poor choice in using fiberglass... maybe if their non "legend" version is half the price of its shiny counterpart than I will consider purchasing it... maybe...
