  1. LMAO any basic visual observation would clearly show that it is not a real firearm. I can't stand people like that.
  2. Congratulations man!
  3. Excellent work man, costume is beautifully done!
  4. Congratulations man!
  5. Nice LOL! I am going to go to kohls or the mall and ask if they have any mannequins they don't need. it will be awkward putting it in my car and driving home though...
  6. I remember seeing the green ones on ebay a while back but after preordering my helmet my costuming fund has come to a screetching halt. Plus they were green and not tan but I still would have bought them... Was it the same pair that I saw?
  7. how did you did you find these???
  8. six years? oh man I hope mine won't take nearly that long . I must say I have looked through through your gallery and your costume is very spot on! It looks like you have Mon Cal which is what I ordered and although I haven't received it yet I can tell it is very screen accurate. Great costume man!
  9. gah that is the hardest decision I had to make was to get weathered or not weathered... I wish I could afford both lol
  10. awesome! I am certain that any of the helmets I listed above should fit you just fine then
  11. you saw it for sale???
  12. You can get a good cummerbund from Mon Cal here on bsn. I think cucblack sells a nice one too
  13. good luck on your helmet hunt man!
  14. the SC is the smallest of the biker scout helmets. You really have to factor a few things when getting a bucket; 1. your budget 2. your head size 3. how screen accurate you want it to be Studio Creations is a smaller helmet and may be uncomfortable for people who have bigger heads. It is overall very good quality (can be if you make it) with only a few screen inaccuracies particularly in the faceplate. It is one of the more relatively affordable options and it looks great. Kropserkel is the cheapest kit that you can get and is pretty durable and lightweight, it is a larger helmet and will fit people with bigger heads but suffers some screen accuracy issues such as the nose greeblie that it comes with and the faceplate and overall height of the helmet is not correct but it is still a relatively nice helmet. The MLCV3 is a nice fiberglass helmet that comes put together and primed ready for paint. It is a little on the smaller side but looks pretty accurate aside from the visor which is a little too squared off but otherwise looks great. It is one of the pricier helmets as I believe it costs around the $300-$400 area but I am not 100% sure about that. If you are lucky enough you can get a lonewolf kit which I believe is fairly priced and is the most screen accurate kit available and Is even the correct size compared to the original helmet. Lonewolf (the creator) is a member here on bsn but he is a very busy guy and only runs very limited numbers of these so if you get the chance to buy one DO NOT WAIT! As it is the most sought after helmet on this forum. If you have a bigger head but want a more screen accurate helmet than kropsekel you can get a cucblack helmet as it is pretty accurate and looks nice. I am not sure about pricing but it is made out of fiberglass so it may be on the higher end. Cucblack is a member here on this forum and he is the creator of that helmet. As far as Rubies goes do not waste your money. They are made out of vinyl and get warped to hell and are a pain in the a@$ to modify just to get a basic clearence. Same with don post for that matter but the 97 don post is a lot better quality than rubies. If you can afford it EFX has the ultimate Scout helmet that is made using master patterns from the original molds used to make the original screen used helmets you see in Return of the Jedi. It is the most screen accurate in terms of dimensions and looks but the limited edition is made of fiberglass which is not what was used in the originals. The downside is they cost $700 to $900 depending on which edition you get. But that is because it is more of a collectors piece than a troopable helmet. An absolutely beautiful helmet though.
  15. Hey gino! Will you guys have a booth at Star Wars celebration this year?
  16. These look amazing! You should do a whole helmet!
  17. Thank you for your input Rob! Could it be possible that the helmet is not the correct size just because it is made of vinyl? I have heard that vinyl shrinks.
  18. it's totally up to you man. whichever one you end up choosing there is a great deal of good sourced information on both costumes. Good luck!
  19. Thanks for clearing that up Lou. the #1 reason I thought it was molded from an original was because I read a rumor about it on the RPF
  20. I was just wondering as the faceplate in particular (when modified) looks really screen accurate. I know it is made from crappy vinyl and suffers from horrible flaring but I have seen some people modify theirs and they made them look amazing. P.S. I only heard rumors that Don post was moulded from an original.
  21. I would be happy if we got them by then...
  22. I wish there were more of these helmets out there...
  23. I sincerely doubt that RS Props will make it out of anything other than the accurate materials used on screen. Man I am so excited for this! I live in CA though so shipping from the UK will hurt but considering I was able to get the efx for $150 cheaper than usual I guess it evens out...
  24. This is INSANELY amazing news!!! Thank you for sharing!
