From what I can tell they do top-notch work, but it appears they have no real business leadership-just a bunch of talented guys doing their thing. I think they should stop taking orders for anything until they clear their current queue.

With a noggin that size you may want to check out NI. His helmet is apparently bigger than the rest. He now offers them in ABS as well, which of course has some flexibility. It may just work for you!

Perhaps they should be spending a little less time on their life-size Jabba and more time on actual customer orders. Unless of course someone actually commissioned a life-sized Jabba...but I kinda doubt it.

Probably depends on when you ordered it. I just ordered mine a month ago. I don't expect it by then.

WUHAHAHAHA!!! Got'em. The XLs are snug on me, but comfortable. These are awesome. I'll probably just wear them around in the winter!

One thing that doesn't seem to be considered much is the HEIGHT of the helmet. I have an average circumference size for a male, but the LENGTH of my head top-to-bottom is long. Some of the helmets would fit around my head, but my chin would stick out of the bottom. So be sure to take the height into consideration as well!

Anybody else have around 10.5 inch(26.67 cm) hands that has these? Is XL good? I've heard they run a little small.

Awesome! Man, those LW helmets are sweet. My only critique is that when viewing the helmet straight on the "ears" should be more visible. That said, I wish I could get my hands on one!

...and how I've still been seduced by it. I put my order in yesterday. I believe all the above points are valid, but I have the luxury of not being disappointed by the missed May release. I already know I'm going to wait, and I'm prepared to do so. I have a lot of work to do on the rest of the costume in the meantime.

Understand your frustration. They really do need to update that. Fortunately I'm not in a rush, as I no longer believe I can get my build done before Dec. 18th anyway. I just can't pass up a bucket with lineage.

I think that refers to the first wave of the 100 Signature Editions they're producing. That doesn't necessarily mean they will offer any more beyond that. I mean I hope they do, because a non-signature edition would be cheaper, but we'll see.

Haha yeah I've been trying to scale the helmets based on the cupboards. They look pretty big, but still hard to tell.

I should note that I messaged them about when these will start shipping and I was told yesterday that "we are looking at 8 weeks for new biker orders" but I don't know what that means if you already had it on order.

What is it about scout helmets made from the actual production materials that proves so difficult for these guys to finish?

I sent them an email a couple of days ago inquiring about the kit version. The response from Andrea said that they WILL NOT be doing a kit and only selling completed helmets. Nevertheless I do believe I'm getting one.
