  1. Awesome work Lou! How did you manage to get your hands on an LW kit!?!
  2. Congrats, well done
  3. Welcome to the BS.N Victor. Good luck with your scout
  4. Welcome to BSN
  5. Thanks mate. The TKs at the troop had blaster envy! Lol
  6. The DC -15X had its first outing this weekend after being cleared by my garrison :-)
  7. Hi Paul. Get in touch with Chef either here or on UKG boards. He'll see you right. All my armour is from him and is great stuff
  8. Where in the UK are you?
  9. Hi Garvey. Welcome to the BS.N Well you've made a good start by finding your way here, the home of all things Scout. The best thing to do is settle down with a nice cuppa and read, research and read some more. Everything you need to know and some that you don't can be found here Have you signed up to the UKG? If not then get yourself over there and say hi. There are a couple of UK suppliers of scout parts both of whom make some quality stuff
  10. Ah, I hadn't considered the rings to be the detailing its on about :-) Good thought!
  11. Simon. My holdout didn't have those mods. I took one of Chefs casts and weathered it. Looks fine and was not raised as an issue for my Lancer application so I don't think they are relevant anymore.
  12. Some better pictures in the daylight
  13. Not the best photos in the world (I'll try and get some better ones in daylight!) but "The Beast" is done.
  14. Well this is proving to be a long build as I keep losing interest for a bit then getting excited about it again! But I have made some good progress in the last couple of weeks and here are the results: (I ran out of matt black spray paint which is why its two tone!) Oh, and I am calling her "The Beast" Do you think it'll be going too far to paint ewok heads on the side with red crosses through them!?!
  15. Congratulations
  16. Hi Greedo. Welcome to the BSN. I'm another Chef trooper. Great guy, really helpful and makes some great armour too. He'll supply in kit form or fully assembled depending on what you want. Are you signed up to the UKG? As well as being cmd staff here he is also one of the scout armourers for the ukg. Look forward to trooping with you in the future.
  17. Without the bipod it's fairly well balanced but once I add the steel bipod it becomes very barrel heavy. I'm thinking about counterbalancing it with some additional weight in the stock!
  18. Not posted for a while but this project has progressed. A bit more filling and detailing then it will be ready for painting
  19. Congratulations Kevin.
