Thank you very much guys!

Ok guys i know that is used by many in the legion, but one question:does it sound similar to a radio voice like in the film?I mean does it distorts a bit?The IComm is pretty expensive...
-
If i'm not wrong this rifle is used by Rebel scouts, not by Imperial forces, why not searching for a DLT-19 scoped or a DC-15x?They are surely easier to find.
-
Sorry if a seem a little confused but what do you mean for smaller barrel? The diameter without t-tracks? Anyway the stock is ok and the longest barrel too (more or less) Thanks a lot Jim
-
It says 627 mm but i dont know if they consider the barrel from the tip or not,i'm not sure about how they measure the barrel...anyway with a bit of calculations i can take the measurements, this is just to be sure if they are correct.

Helllllo guys, after my first two events with my local garrison i noticed that i need a big weapon!Because big weapons are liked by folks ah aah.So i decided to scratchbuild a DLT 19,but before starting, need some planning:i'm pretty sure someone of you got one of this and if you could be so kind to write me a couple of measures i'll reellllly be happy. The '' ? '' are the measure i need. The green '' ? '' means the barrel diameter but WITHOUT T-TRACS ON thank you for coooperation

I avoided this by glueing only 4 parts of the visor, top, bottom, left and right.I left a small space between visor and faceplate so there cant be any fog, from outside this space in invisible.

You dont need to reduce them, just upload them on a site (for example tinypic),after the uploading copy and paste the URL (the one with bla bla bla [\IMG]) on the reply and your done!

A little update,almost done...
-
Maybe you'll see it,maybe... Anyways,if i got accepted in the 501st with a clean scout and then i dirt it ''a little'' too much,i wont be able to take part to official events right? There's this possibility?
-
How much weathering is allowed for the scout?I would love weathering it like a sandtrooper but it's not accepted in the standards of 501st...
-
Yep,you are a little thin so the pouches could be a little narrower, just to give a better look
-
Just a quick try...cummerbund,neck and other details need to be fixed,i want to specify that i'm going only for standard specs, for now
-
Looks good! I'm also starting sewing my cummerbund now but according to your cummerbund pattern,i suggest you to make the 6 vertical stripes a little narrower than the upper part of the tapered crotch.
-
Mine too is a KS,anyway i planned to make it dirty so i think i will not lose time in this...
-
Gloves received!
-
Ok,to fill the gap between top and back part i melted some pieces of ABS in acetone, after sanding it,what can i use to make it glossy? In my local garrison they suggest me to use Polish.I need something other?
-
Finally armor is complete!I know the white elastic bands that covers the front chest and back arent screen-accured,but this is only a temporary solution...
-
Thank you for the advice Nate, but i choose the position directly from film
-
Just finished belt and TD,after the doubts i decided to sewing the buckles...here you go
-
Thank you guys
-
Assembling the belt and now i'm in a bit of a dilemma...the white webbing that holds the thigh boxes should be one piece that goes behind the buckle or two pieces each sewed on the buckle? For example in pandatrooper's build he made just one piece, but i think that this way makes the webbing a little...ehrm ''swelling''?(correct word?) If i havent explaneid it clearly ill post a few drawings to make it clear thx EDIT: Wich one do you suggest?

Velcro on the back?
-
Thank you guys, and thank you chunk for the close up of the binoculars!
-
What kind of electrobinoculars does the scouts use?I thought to make one similar to the one used by the sandtroopers in ANH but i think its kinda ''big'' for a scout.I saw someone uses a black compact version (i dont remeber well) similar to that If someone have pics... thank u
