  1. I had to cut/trim the forehead band and overhead band to allow them to be shortened.
  2. It's quite simple, the grey bolts should go through the visor, helmet and headband to hold the headband in place. The headband might need a bit of adjustment to get it to fit.
  3. They look fine to me. I personally wouldn't be too bothered about the laces under the vinyl. Once you've trooped in them a few times they will crease up over the toe anyway. Take a look at my boots before I cut the sole, should set your mind at ease
  4. My chin cup doesn't touch my helmet when worn. I have a helmet liner in my lid though which keeps my head away from the face plate so that might help. Do you know your missing the black outline around your snout greebly too?
  5. If you need a Helmet Vendor in the UK Give Chef a shout.
  6. I'm guessing Chef meant mm Andy
  7. I went for outside the lines ;-) About half way into the flat area seemed correct to me. Andy
  8. Hey Chef, Can I nab some at MEM as well? Andy
  9. Looks pretty excellent work to me. Andy
  10. Good eyes I also fixed the top of my shoulder bell with a press stud on the shoulder of the flack vest and the other side glued inside the bell to give an invisible attachment, as Chef suggests. After reading this though I may take another look at my strapping around the arm and try a 1" elastic loop with a central press stud near the bottom of the bell Andy
  11. Need to get a picture sorted for there..
  12. Thanks very much guys I will sort a photo ASAP.
  13. I've been meaning to get some new pics up but life and troops got in the way. Anyway, here are a couple of pics of my drop boxes lowered a bit and the belt straightened. Cheers Andy
  14. The painted black area of the snout extends to halfway into the outer flat area too.
  15. Great work so far and hate to say this, but with that little amount of vinyl covering the toe your gonna have a job covering the gap between the leg part of the boot and the toe. When I made mine I made sure the vinyl covering the toe was covering at least three lace holes and reached back to the heel of the sole. That way you'll get an overlap with the leg part and have a much easier time covering the seam with the dogbone.
  16. Yeah, I see what you mean. Fair play. I reckon I should be able to sort that this weekend I'm hoping it's not my gut pushing the belt down....... Cheers, Andy
  17. One more for luck, taken today
  18. LOL, sure. How about this
  19. Hi Chaps, Any movement/suggestions on my app? Andy
  20. Spurred on by Chef's support I wish to apply for Lancer status. Warning. Very picture heavy. Edited to correct my awful spelling
  21. Thanks for your suggestions I'm not really worried about the pouch tabs showing at the sides as this can be seen a couple of on screen scouts. The scout that tries to arrest Leia by the log in particular. I feel I have the measurement on the front of the 'bund correct with the 6 stitch lines 1" apart and the pouches 1" from the last stitch line either side. I need to remake the side straps though as even though they are 2" cotton webbing they are creasing to look thinner under tension. Solving this will mean the straps will hide the top of the 'bund better and cover some of the side pouch tabs. The pouch tabs are attached to the chest armour and also velcroed to the 'bund to keep things together. So, hitching the bund a little higher in future shouldn't be a problem.
