Thanks for posting those comp pics with the KS. The width is nice and narrow as it should be. Snout paint job is weak - too bad - but all around the helmet looks nice. I'm in wave 2 and when I get mine, I will post comps of it and my LW as well. Glad you got yours man! One last thing, the Altmann's Lids all had wonky lens glue as well (they are not pretty on the inside). Put the black felt behind the ears. That does the trick. \m/

Well, that is what makes them so darn valuable and highly sought after. We should consider ourselves fortunate (which we do) because lots of folks have been seeking one for many, many (many) years. \m/

Well, at least their communication is consistent. I just received my confirmation of being in the SECOND WAVE. First wave supposedly posts this week. Second wave 3 weeks from now. WE SHALL SEE.... "Thank you for patience so far regarding the biker helmets. I can confirm you are in the second wave, The first wave will be shipping this week, To follow the second wave we are looking at approximately 3 weeks. We now have the water slide decals after the sixth attempt and finally got them correct in our hands. We apologise for the long delay and many thanks for choosing RS."

There is always another issue or excuse. They had a picture of boxes of untrimmer TK armor that they said was going to be shipped ASAP on Facebook today. LOL - It was not even separated to be individually shipped yet. I am just going to try to forget about this helmet like am am doing the eFX Scout. Someday, they will both arrive to my doorstep (and I will be in a pine box and my great grandchildren will be able to enjoy them). \m/

Did I see your comments on Facebook? It seemed like they were beginning to respond. If not, that SUX brother. They are not very keen on that part of the customer service aspect. \m/

I received the heads-up notification on 09/03/15 and have not received any notification since (see below). Apparently, by "next month" they mean next year. I can confirm you are in the second wave. We foresee the shipping date being around the 1st of next month. LOL. Who the heck knows... I am also waiting for the RS "Dickey" Scout which has been delayed much longer than expected. It's been so long for either to deliver that I actually forget about them until a new message is sent out. Finger's crossed that we get the eFX this year but who knows... \m/

UPDATE!!!! I blame the Chinese New Year. LOL - Looks like the wait continues... ( March 25, 2015 Dear Matt: Order No.: 108 - - - First, I would like to thank you for your patience on the release of our Biker Scout helmet. We have run into a manufacturing issue, which is causing this delay. As many of you know, the facemask was never intended to be a feature to be used in the filming of ROTJ. According to Nilos Rodis-Jamero, it was only as a convenience to the actors so that when they wanted to take a break, they did not have to remove their helmets. So, the proper engineering was not necessary to accommodate this feature for the actors. After extensive reliability testing of opening and closing the face mask many times, the hole begins to become deformed and thus ultimately becomes very loose. This is because the facemask does not lift straight up due to geometry of the sculpt of the facemask and dome, We have established that this is primarily due to the fact that the surfaces are parallel. Thus, the challenge is to resolve this problem, yet not affect the geometry of the original sculpt! Now that the factory is back from the Chinese New Years holiday and at full capacity, we are working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. And, we hope to start shipping by Comic Con. Thanks once again for your patience and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this delay may have caused! Bryan
