Darth Hobbes
You've convinced me to get another set of armor. I'm gonna go broke! Amazing stuff man! I can't wait until this is fully complete. You can count me in!
Darksaber212
PG, WOW! It had been awhile since I have been on this forum but OMG. Awesome work! Looking forward to those pics with the armor on. Nice job buddy!
TB-7076
Oh, yeah Mad, I have not forgotten ya - LOL ~Mike No headackes Mike But before you drop a "bomb" check back with me for some details. Can't await to see your complete set of hard pieces in colour. Oh man applying all the colour must be a time consuming part of the whole process. OT As we speak of soft parts - do you have any news regarding the project of Jason?
pghfett
Haven't heard a word from Jason for a while on the fabric. I'll try to touch base with him today or tomorrow.

Darth Templar
Mike, I am blown away by you work. It is truly a work of art. I can already see from the posts listed here that there will be a long list. If you indeed do decide to make a BARC armor kit with helmet, please add me to the list. Thanks, Jim (DT)

TB-7076
The problem I have now is ... I want to say something incredible about your work but I'm lost for words. That is pure-prop-porn. Do you use a real buckle system for the strapping or is it glued on?
Darth Templar
Mike OMG your armor work is phenomenal!!! I am blown away!!! I love the prop-porn comment...lmao!!
Sentinel
I love the paint job on all the parts except the chest. I don't know what it is, but I just the colors kinda clash... I could barely paint my own helmet, so I just need to shut my trap.

LMK more specific info would be appreciated if changes need made. ~Mike

Ladyghost4459
The set would come unpainted, ...correct? OMG is not big enough to compliment your artistic genious. You and MonCal are about the best armorers I have seen. The question is production. Can you pull off mass production (small "mass" as in BSN and 501st) or is this going to be entirely limited edition?
Sentinel
Just a little green up near the straps would even out the colors and make it look really good. I hope I didn't insult you, because I know I can't even paint a freakin' smiley face with an airbrush...
TB-7076
The good thing is that Mike is open to critiques - from day one he was aksing for it and has worked with the people. I'm really gratefull that he has given us the chance to participate on that level. You know some artists can be quite difficult when it comes to critiques I'm still curious about the strapping *hint*
pghfett
Nah !!! not insulted at all - not one bit This is what makes things better - be honest and brutal if need be, I welcome all ideas and participation. I can add some green up there - I thought it was too brown as well, it's just my eyeballs are going wacko doing all this camo LOL Thanks for the info, I can fix it prior to weathering and clear coating - ~Mike
Guest kamonian wax
Wow, that's great work! -You are probably making the best authentic BARC trooper armor I have ever seen. I can't wait to see the complete body-shot of it. How much money does the set cost if are you gonna offer for sale anyways?
DaVe
Mike, That stuff is pure artwork.... I can't wait to see in person. BTW, are you going to put together a painting tutorial? Any idea when you might start selling hard armor? DaVe

Can you pull off mass production (small "mass" as in BSN and 501st) or is this going to be entirely limited edition? I do plan on doing a small run for the folks here who want to make costumes. I'm also speaking with someone who has a industrial vac former for quality pulls but this is "down the line" still in the preliminary stages. I'd love to paint a few sets for folks interested but this would have be very limited considering the type of paint up this is. There is also a nasty rumor floating around that one of my helmets is currently headed overseas to be recasted, if this is the case the run will be very limited indeed. I know crying about recasters is a moot point - but I will take steps to protect my hard work.
TB-7076
Well I think whatever happens your quality and origin will remain uncontested. Things happen but there will always be people who know where stuff is coming from and appreciate the pioneer spirit.
