I have pulled the back plate and have finished it's surface. All that remains is the installation of the greeblie plate area and a final trimming and it will be ready fo final molding.

I'll post some pics of the final buck/piece prior to final molding.

Do I understand that correct? You want to pull tank and detail plate as one?

I would treat both independently.

If I hate anything about costumes it is the look of "cast in one" pieces.

Na, the greeblie plate will be separate from the tank top. however, the greeblie is recessed into the tank top making both surfaces even with each other - smooth straight across - except for the devices that stand up off the greeblie plate.

I'm making the indentation that will "outline" where to cut out for the greeblie plate.

Both pieces will be separate from each other. It would play serious havoc if I even tried to cast them together as one piece LOL :)

Ok, so misinterpreted that. Cool plan.

You know I'm a fan of details so everything that is constructed out of several pieces making things more natural looking and actually constructed from pieces.

And I think though a lot of stuff on the CGI models is texture and in that respect comparable to movie production costumes detailing makes a muhc more enjoyable costume for the live presentation when people stand next to you.

Wow!!! This is some really cool work. What an awesome uniform. If I only had the space and the time to setup an armor making facility. I am so jealous.

The NobelPrice of prop building is aching back, hands in need of a manicure, many hours of frustration and reflection, nearly going blind staring at screen captures, many start overs and ruined materials...then that Eureaka moment when everyone goes oooooh, ahhhh.... :D

pghfett, i have to say you have talent... it seems your project is rolling along nicely... the chest/back seem to be bulky but accurate to the screens of the BARC killed by yoda... just wondering whats the ratio in size with the bucket envolved... but all and all keep up the good work...
