I dislike the “hard hat” insert from RS prop masters for the helmet. Any padding suggestions? Anyone willing to share a few photos of the inside of their bucket?

Agreed!  It constantly gave me headaches.  Here is my setup.   I used to have a pad on the top, but it lifted the helmet up too high

You find it stays on your head pretty well with that set up. You have there? No problems, pulling up the front face piece and it sagging forward?

Fits my big dome fine.  Much better than the crushing headaches I was getting from the hard hat liner

All my helmets have padding of some kind.  Some are just blocks of foam, some are airsoft helmet pads and some are just random helmet pads I had.  Some of my buckets have a combination of different padding.  I like the padding cause I can add as much or little as I need for a custom fit.  Some of my helmets have a felt liner in them, which makes it easy to add velcro pads as well.

I just got a new RS helmet and it has the hard hat liner.  I plan to give it a try on my next troop, but even after just testing it, I have a feeling I am going to be replacing it with padding...

Anyone have a link to these type of padding. I found some on Amazon and ordered it, but it is very thin. Worked great in my TK bucket, but I feel like my Scout helmet is a bit wider.
