NorvelleScout05 Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Is the flight suit made out of gabardine and suede? Thanks
BikerScout007 Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 58 minutes ago, NorvelleScout05 said: Is the flight suit made out of gabardine and suede? Thanks The originals were cotton. These days most folks use coveralls which are usually a cotton/polyester blend. The suede patches are added separately. Most of us use thin pig suede that we get from places like Tandy Leather 2
mrbill8128 Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 Grab yourself a pair of Red Kap coveralls off of Amazon if you have a good idea what size you wear. They essentially follow the same sizing as whatever jacket you wear. And like our fearless leader said, you can buy the thin pig suede at Tandy Leather.

NorvelleScout05 Posted June 2, 2024 Author Posted June 2, 2024 Is Wampa Wear’s racing suit the correct one? Thanks
Retrofire Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 4 hours ago, NorvelleScout05 said: Is Wampa Wear’s racing suit the correct one? Thanks It's approvable but you're still going to have to add the riding patches and butt flap. The mandarin collar isn't required any longer but is fine for basic approval. I would heed the earlier suggestion to get the Red Kap suit and mod it yourself or with the help of your garrison mates or a tailor. Check out a few of the links provided for the soft goods and you'll get a better idea of what you need. Keep asking those great questions! 1
NorvelleScout05 Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 What kind of Red Kap coveralls should I get? Thanks
Chopper Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Red Kap Men's Twill Action Back Coverall https://a.co/d/2PqcV4y 1
NorvelleScout05 Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 I got my coverall today. Do you keep the pockets on the front of the coverall?
Chopper Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 The chest pockets won't be visible with your gear on, so you can keep them if you'd like.
