Today we updated the Patrol Trooper CRL to hopefully make it a little easier to accomplish what has been the biggest obstacle with this costume: obtaining the jacket. When first launched, Armory Shop was pretty much the only game in town for the PT, but with them running into supply issues, a lot of potential builders were left stranded. Nowadays, the PT has a few different parts suppliers: Mr Poopie has 3D files, Lunaworks has a helmet; WTF is supplying a kit, and even Sheev's is producing the jacket. But for folks who want to make their own jacket, we hope this tweak helps: Jacket Smooth semi-gloss black material. Sleeves are ribbed. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Jacket should be tailored to wearer so as not to be too loose or baggy. Sleeves consist of ribbed, smooth and stitched sections. See image for details. So now for Level 1, we are only requiring the sleeve be ribbed. There is no basic requirement to have the exact pattern as the film Trooper. That has been moved up to Level 2, and we've included a captioned image showing what the sleeve pattern should be for CHiPs status. We hope this helps clear the logjam of folks who were stuck on the jacket and gets more Patrol Troopers out on the streets and writing citations! 2 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
