Sorry, I think I might’ve posted this in a wrong chat before but I’m working on getting my armor put together and was wondering if these boots would be the correct color for approval. If not what boots could I get that work?

The sole color on those looks okay. If you don't mind sharing, what brand are they?

Folks recently have had a hard time getting the Kingshow boots with the single color sole, which is why I'm curious.

@Chopper They are the Sonoma Goods For Life® Dwain Men's Ankle Boots.

These kingshow boots are available rn at Walmart. Do these work as well?

Depends -- are you going for Level 1 basic clearance or Level 2 Lancer?

Level 2 requires a single colored sole, but for basic clearance you can have the two tone sole, like in the example above.

You can use acrylic paints to cover up a two tone sole, but it's easier to just have the single color one to begin with.

If you're only going to basic clearance, then the kingshow boot above is fine as well.

@Chopper Sorry, quick question to add on. Would that first boot need to be painted for the single color tone or would that work for level 2? I realistically haven’t decided if I want level 1 or 2 approval.

If you wanted to do Level 2 Lancer in the future, then yes, the Kingshow boot would need to be painted to have a single color "wheat" sole.

The first boot you posted would be good for Level 1 and 2.

Don't know how much you're looking to spend but I just got my base boots from Gio over at Crowprops yesterday and they look excellent. They were about $150 after shipping

Yea, I plan on making them myself but that’s a decent price. Thank you though!
