MagKekse
Hello community I am an avid Star Wars fan and especially a fan of the Empire. I have had the urge to join the Imperial Army for quite some time. Now I have my 40th birthday in two years and until then I would like to have my Scout equipment complete. I am a complete newbie in cosplay and have no experience in techniques, materials and their processing. But I give my best. To start, I have now bought a complete armor for the Scout on Etsy. This armor I print myself on the 3D printer. The reason for this was because I could not wait until MrPoopie has contacted me on my request for his armor parts. Rookie mistake. Now I'm already facing the first big problem because I have no idea how to adapt the parts to my body and scale them correctly. On advice, I bought Armorsmith Designer and the parts there times adapted to my body. But I have no idea whether the proportions fit so. Maybe someone can help me here and look at my file. I hope for a lot of help here so I can finish my equipment as good as possible. By the way, I come from Austria and would then want to join the Austrian Garrison. My mother language is German so please forgive me my bad English.

In my experience, there are very few files out there beside MrPoopie and Jesus Salmeron that meet requirements. But I am always ready to be pleasantly surprised. sconlon68
Welcome! I can't imagine too many of the scout parts need to be modified. Maybe chest and back if you are larger/smaller than the initial files fit. So.. what size are you? Maybe some other folks who have printed parts can determine any possible changes. MagKekse
Here are some screens of my armor - modified with Armorsmith. Better said the armor parts adapted to my body. I had to deform the breastplate very much so that it fits me. I don't know if I'm allowed to do that.
BikerScout007
Looks like you are making the chest armor too big. The chest should come down to the bottom of the pectorals and not go down much further. Knees look a wee bit big too Best place for visual references is the Scoutopedia. Now I see my mistake with the chest. And knees, yep a little to big. 😁

Or the height of one pouch!
