Tank rivet location

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I'm trying to figure out if this rivet location on the bottom of the tank would pass Lancer approval:

This kit is made by RS. I've seen some people's RS kits in the past with the rivet much lower and were required to be relocated. Is mine high enough to pass or is it still too low? Thanks!

Remember if you need any production source images to check against your work, look in the Scoutopedia:

Thanks!  I've been looking at those images too but it's hard to judge distance without any hard measurements. If it were me, I'd say my rivet is still too low compared to the production images! However, I'm glad I won't have to relocate it :)

It's in the ballpark though.  If it were right up against the edge I'd say we had a problem, but I think yours is fine where it is.  We don't specify an exact, GPS-determined location as to where the rivet needs to go, we just ask you come close.  If you want to move it up some more, it would be fine too.
