It's done! Took some new pictures for the approval today and of course the cummerbund slipped a little bit upwards, but well... nevermind... Just sent the pictures to my GMOs and now it's time for a beer and anxious waiting for the response... and hopefully it's just the congratulation for the new costume... 😄

While I‘m still waiting for my Basic approval can you see any major issues with my setup for the Lancer application? Besides the ones I mentioned before? Al

Arne, because of the intensive multi-person evaluation process involved in the Level 2 Lancer application, as a rule, we don't do Lancer pre-reviews.

Most everyone has to make some level of adjustment for the Lancer process, and sometimes it's only something minor. The best way to find out is to apply!

Judging by the photos you've posted, I'm sure your basic approval will be coming soon!

Just got the message by my GMOs that I‘m officially approved as TB-30729! A special Thanks to@Chopper and@AradunFF for guiding me through the whole process. In the end I wasn’t able to stick to my goal of documenting the whole process structured in chapters. But sometimes things change during the whole process. At least this is what I learned. Now up to the woods hunting those damn teddybeara…

The saga continues or Winter is coming...

Ok guys, now that I've been approved as ROTJ Scout for some months and already had some awesome troops with my armor I guess it's time to move on with my project. Because my big goal from beginning was to achive Lancer status I already did the strapping on the armor parts according the requirements for Lancer. So the armor in general shouldn't cause any major problems. In the meantime I'm waiting for my new helmet by Ironmotion and I just want to wear it when I'm starting my Lancer deployment request.

The biggest issues I have with my bound and the pouches. I did add some velcro on the bound and in the inside of the armor but unfortunately this seems not to stick very well so the bound always comes down after a while and I'm slowly transfering into a Mando Scout... 😄 The vest is ok but the sleeves got teared appart a little bit so this has to be addressed as well. And last but not least I'm not satisfied with my Jumpsuit as it is still a little bit to baggy, the fabric is thick, parts of the suit have a doublelayer and I did messed arround with the velcro for the biceps and knee armor and used some e6000 on it. It looks terrible. Nobody can see it but I know it's there... 😛

I've tried to get my fingers on a RadKap or Kolossus overall but there weren't any overalls avaible in my size in germany and I didn't want to pay for shipping and customs for just an overall. So I've searched the internet and found a nice overall on amazon by a manufacturer called  BWOLF which is located in Bulgaria. The price is 36,99 € which is very cheap and because of that I thought that I couldn't do much wrong. Today the package arrived and the overall fits perfectly and so I don't have to adjust it that much. The fabric is very light weighted and consits of 65% polyester and 35% cotton which makes it very comfortable the wear. It already has the open collar which I definately wanted to implement with my Lancer build. But I definately need to wash it first because it does smell a little bit chemicaly... 😄 So first step will be working on the new overall. Does anybody has experiences with attaching the buttflap on an elastic waistband?

The elastic is an issue with the Kolossus coveralls as well. You can just a longer butt flap from the suede and then attach it a little bit higher up, above the cinched elastic area.

Arne, for your bund, do you just have hook and loop on the front of the bund and attach it to the chest armor, or do you also have it on the back of the bund and attach it to the flak vest?

I have both and my bund goes no where. I also have hook and loop to attach the back of the bund to the back of the flak vest as well. I used 2” hook and loop.

And a new addition to my scout. Got this beautiful DLT-19x printed by a fellow Garisson Member. Still need to finish the scope and than I'll hit everything with some primer and sanding fun begins. But the printing lines are not that bad, so this should be an easy one. I need to add the details on the T-tracks but I'm really stunned by the qualitly. In the center there is a PVC pipe which makes the blaster quite dureable and lightweighted... 😄

Wow, almost one year later I'm about to finish the build. Unfortunately the hoster of my free picture webspace is going end his service in two months and I need to look for another hoster. So the picture is kind of small. I might overdid it with metal chips and I will add some black paint again on the weekend because I had to sand down some colordips on the stock. I did the scope, the main body and the barrel seperately and never had the complet look... Yeah it's too much... 😂 But thanks to @TreeHuggerMattI found my motivation again with completing this nice imperial masterpiece.
