Voice amplifier

I will have my first troop with the Scout in a few days. I have a TRamp and with my TK it is mounted in the chest. I thought it would work with the Scout Trooper too. But I was mistaken, there is not enough space in the chest. The only other possibility I see is one of the pouches. Does anyone else use a TRamp? Where did you mount your system?

I do not use TRamp but I place my amplifier in one of the plastic boxes in my pouches and use a Bluetooth mic. I’ve also used a wired mic and hooked the amplifier to my waistband or hung it around my neck.

I dont use a sound system any longer because I didnt like the way it pulled down on my pouches.  but when I did I just put an Aker speaker in a pouch.  Scouts don't have static burst so a TK-style sound system isn't appropriate.

With the TRamp you can switch off the static bursts. So it will be okay for a scout. I will try it. I don't like to shout from under the bucket, so the voice amplification is nice. With the compression of the TRamp it sound a bit more like 80th radio communication.
