LisaVH Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 I tried to search, but wasn't sure how to word it. Does anyone have tips or tricks for keeping the upper arm piece from slipping? Between the gloves and helmet visibility, I am constantly trying (and failing) to adjust the upper arm pieces while in kit. I can't feel them slip, so I look down and find that the arm band is down around my forearm. It's driving me crazy!
BikerScout007 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Piece of velcro sewn to the suit and some matching velcro on the back of the armor piece. that should do it! 4
Jakeputt Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Some of us have velcro on our bicep, forearm and knee pieces. 3

Chopper Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Yep yep. What the rest of the crew already said. I made a pretty comprehensive post about ways to attach the armor parts linked below. Feel free to use whichever parts work best for you. 2
LisaVH Posted December 3, 2019 Author Posted December 3, 2019 Thank you! That sounds like exactly what I am looking for. I appreciate the link. 1
Dragon_a Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I just glued some foam to the inside of my upper arm piece. That creates enough friction to keep it in place. 1

Lawless Scout Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I really live by magnets. joanns has Purse Clasp magnets that are easy to install with just prongs and 2 small cuts. Then glue the other to the bicep armor. I hate when mine move. the nice thing with the clasps is the magnets "click in" with a little tab - they will never move. I did the same with my knees too. 1 1
M.J Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I've glued foam into my arm piece as well, worked well in the 8 years, it also helps look in line with the bell, if you have skinny arms
