clockworksoldier
So I am building my own cummerbund due to time and money restraints and bragging rights, so if you are like me, here is a link to an awesome build tutorial!!
BikerScout007
Is that @Pandatrooper I see? Other than it's higher than the ideal height of 8-9 inches, it's not a bad tutorial! Ideally, the bund should be the same height as the pouches, when taking into account the 2 inch attachment tab. So between 8-9 inches. This image should give you an idea of height. As you can see here, the bottom of the pouches and the bottom of the bund are aligned, and meet at the belt.
Chopper
Nice find on the video. Also, here's an additional image that should give you a good idea on proportions.

Asking for someone who has a weird torso and has trouble finding shirts that fit right...and fighting with his cummerbund...

It's probably best practice to have your armor on hand before making most of this stuff. You never know where plastic parts will sit/hang off your frame... and most of the soft part sizes seem dependent on that.

Absolutely and like @greenyone said above, it's better to make measurements with your armor already in hand so you know better how it's going to fit. However we've written the CRL so that you can still meet the requirements no matter what your body type.
