  1. Hello all! Does anyone know a good tutorial to show how to make a neck seal?
  2. I just went to amazon, under my previous orders and it says That they are unavailable at this time. However if you go to the 3M website I was able to find this...... But the 3M website also took me to this. https://www.amazon.com/3M-Speedglas-Headband-Assembly-05-0660-00/dp/B007UUH0LA?SubscriptionId=AKIAI6WGZ24OLDWOOQJA&tag=commconn_us_45_101390-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B007UUH0LA&smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/all-3m-products/~/3M-Speedglas-Headband-Assembly-Kit-SL-05-0660-00-1-EA-Case/?N=5002385+3294755384&preselect=3293786499&rt=rud Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Awesome. Thank you for the pointers. I wore it out to a combat vet event as a trial run to see what I needed to tweak, tuck, trim and taper. I still need to properly mount and attach the shoulder bells as well as add a bit more 1/2” elastic length to the strapping. My cummerbund is an easy fix because the 2” strap is adjustable in the back of the cummerbund. And my belt..... Sheesh!! Started doing keto so I’ve lost 13lbs in about 1-1/2 weeks!!! So I need to take that in. I still need to properly attach my back tank and boot holster, both of which are giving me a P.I.T.A!! Also I need my suede pieces sewn in when I fit my flight suit. I figure I’m about a month out on submitting for approval and then lancer shortly there after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Almost done!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Now guess what I’m working on....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I have a 3D printed pistol by vendetta arms. It already has a half inch recess in the grip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey Scouts, What size magnet do I need and where can I find it, for a holdout blaster/leg holster setup? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. So my belts done. Finally..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Continued... 6” tall 5” wide 2” deep 2”-2.5” pouch flap I even made an insert for stability Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ok here’s my first pouch from cut cloth to complete. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. 5, 1” ribs 2” Right over left, Velcro closure No visible stitching on the bottom of the bund. Upper stitching will be hidden by chest armor There is plenty Of room on the upper part of the cummerbund to attach the pouches and cod piece, as suggested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Awesome advice! THANK YOU!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I’ve been using a mechanical pencil that comes off very easily and I’m getting very good at these cummerbunds! It took me about an hour and a half on this one just because I’m OCD with measurements Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Ok, so I hit the ole drawing board and Sewing machine again. This is a completely different cummerbund. I found some heavier cotton material and better white bunting for the inside. I deducted about an 1-1/2” - 2” off the top and I used hem tape on the inside where it will not be seen, To keep the bunting in place. Now it rests comfortably right above the belt and leaves me enough room behind the chest armor for Velcro, to secure the cod piece and pouches. Now I just have to do the really hard part and put the ribs in… LOL Please don’t mind the Wookiee reaching out from my suit. I just didn’t feel like putting the collar all the way up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. More cummerbund pics: 2” Velcro, 5 ribs 1” width, right over left closure and the process....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hello all! So I have slowly but surely been trimming and sewing and working on my WTF kit. I am a squirrel chasing SOB so I jump back and forth from piece to piece. But, I’m ready to start posting. This is my first ever attempt at a cummerbund. I am I am wearing the belt without any drop boxes or strapping due to the fact that I cannot find any inch and a half white cotton wedding or inch and a half parachute buckles. The Cummerbund closes right over left and has 5, 1 inch ribs per the CRL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. AWESOME THANK YOU!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m in the process of making my cummerbund so What does it mean on the CRL when it states for the cummerbund that there’s to be no visible external stitching? Does anybody have a picture example? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The greeble is a WTF. I did see on a Lancer approval thread (not here for snitching) that some one did have a 9 finned top and he was approved so as long as quality and not quantity is the rule...… Saw and sand it is!!! Thanks again Chopper!!!
  22. Question for you scouts, specifically the Lancers, So I am in the process of mounting my tank topper greeble to the top of the tank but I noticed a problem. The eighth “fin” closest to the center is going to make it impossible to place the rivet directly under the dial! So my question is, does the amount of fins on the tank topper matter? I’ve seen most with eight but I have seen some of the seven and even nine. If the amount doesn’t matter I know exactly how I can fix it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So I am building my own cummerbund due to time and money restraints and bragging rights, so if you are like me, here is a link to an awesome build tutorial!!
