mickeymark34
Its been a little while, but last night my buddy came over and helped me with his sewing skills. We finished the flightsuit by adding the riding patch, butt flap, and elastic around the legs. We then went on to start the boots. We stretched the vinyl over the toes and glued them down, and made the tubes. We just have to glue the tubes and make the dog bones and glue them on. They only thing left I have to do is Primer the spot where I filled the gap, and sand it down smooth, then primer and paint the whole helmet, and add the decals. Hopefully, I'll be ready for submission photos in the coming days. One thing I did realize, is I need clips for my TD. I may have to make some, somehow, as I cant find any to purchase. I'll post up pictures of my latest progress, once Tapatalk displays the WIP section on their app, which is oddly missing at the moment. mickeymark34
Working on the boots right now. Following the Cheesewhoopy tutorial I trimmed the excess material off of the toes and cut 1/2” strips to cover the line. I’m hoping the CA glue I used holds the strips down properly. On one, I used a little magic tape to hold it down while it cures.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
mickeymark34
Tonight, I'll work on getting the tubes glued down with Shoe Goo. I'm waiting on Bondo Spot Putty to arrive so I can finish my helmet at get the dome and cap painted. Hopefully I'll be able to start taking submission photos within the next week. mickeymark34
Boots are almost done. I glued one side of each boot last night, and tonight I will glue the other sides down. I’m slowly getting the helmet together as the spray paint cures. I glued the greeblie on last night, and added the fishhook decal.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

mickeymark34
Well, today I made some final adjustments and sent in submission photos to become a Pathfinder. I want to thank all that have chimed in on this thread, especially, @BikerScout007 and @Chopper. But everybody on these boards are so helpful. I appreciate everything that anyone has done in the way of giving links to supplies, offering tips to complete an obstacle, and giving support on this journey.
