Fenrir Kyramud WIP

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I signed up on the Pathfinder forums some time ago, but had not started building my kit. Well, now I have. In fact, I am working on printing (yes, I have 2 3D printers going) my armor, finally. I've started with the smaller pieces; knees, forearms, biceps, blaster and greebles. Soon, I'll start on the larger bits. I'm printing in PETG, with a 50% infill and layers clocked at 25* to the next, so instead of a straight "honeycomb", it's twisted, making for a heavier print. Every piece will get a good sanding and then at least 2 coats of XTC-3D. Before wet sanding and finishing.

But, still a long way to go and I'll post the journey here.

Just finished my Biker Scout. With 3D printed parts. I'll upload my WIP, which from the start of my prints to the finished parts. May give you ideas. My cumberband is too low
But have swapped it for another
Just need to do my full kit up pics.

Looks good.

I would trim the shoulder bridges of your back armor abit. They are pushing your back armor up and out from your body.

Might want to check dimensions of those pouches. Look a little big.

And yeah the I go with a separate bund and cod which allows a little more leeway for fit. Looking forward to seeing the new bund.
Yeah I've actually have a replacement cumberband. And gifts a lot better.
Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciatedIMG_20190429_083524__01__01.thumb.jpg.d02d2583c156e7d91899ba9a60ce2bb1.jpg

Armor is looking good. I wanna throw in some some info on the bund. The current bund is way to long. I'm 6'5" in my bund length is only around 9.5". Nothing that can't be fixed.
Yup agreed. Was made for a taller person the replacement is better fitting to my size I'll post a pic tonight when I do the kit up

  • 2 weeks later...

Spotted my other replacement cumberband had six ribs. Must have been s old CRL spec from chef. So altered my original cumberband to fit better . And the sagging in my holster boot, is now sorted. bbe71bfb2671b255b4f7075c37c551b9.jpg2dd816434524ff17fb4c2cf7e44cfbf0.jpg
